Well by golly shazam I didn' know it was your B.Day well you just relax and do a Happy dance or just dance the night away , well Happy B. Day anyways.

That is Awsome that you got the surprise of being in 1nderland , also I a glad your port replacement went well, remember small sips and take care of your self as you have been , rest and be healthy and don't over do it , you will be back on the banded track soon .

I didn't have any strings and I would call my Doc to ask , just to make sure what it might be as I would have not want to mess anything up , so please call your doc so they can look to make sure everything is o k and they can look.

Please be more careful also anytime you are not sure about something or have something or some kind of pain always call your doc to make sure or have them take a look , they are the ones you trusted with your life when they did the surgery and you are doing this to be healthy , how healthy are you going to be if you don't get advice from your band surgeon.

Thankyou I was wandering about that , how scary and awful it sounds , I have known a few people that have had colastamy bags placed on them and have seen them so this again was very helpful to know ,I hope they nub you before they take out the Fluid and is the fluid also going to be out of the band hope they just take out the part they are suppose to and enjoy your new healthy you& your flat tummy I am going to be so jelous lol.

O k I know about the different plastic surgery's but can you inform me what everybody that has some kind of plastic surgery what are drains and what do they do, please enlighten me so I know what to expect if I ever think about having it or if I will have to, thankyou and I am glad you are feeling like your new self, also happy for you that you could do this ,

I hope you either went to the ER or called your Doc and let them know so they can look at it so it doesn't get worse and so they can repair it , don't be a guy and say it's o k , you had major surgery to be healthy so why would you ignore it , please get help for the open wound.

You'r right just heal , how ever you can still focus on your banded life and health as you have the tool and know what to and what not we our suppose to do sometimes we fall off but we can also get back on and ride the band wagon through , so make sure and take care of you also.

I have posted before that I have a Aunt that is a retired R.N. and she has had her stomache stapled twice then had bypass surger and then she went for the lapband and then she had to have I forgot wich one , because when they got in there they found her liver was connected to her stomache , and my cousin went for the Ryn and she has lost so much weight she doesn't look healthy or like herself at all and she sort of looks likes a skeleton with skin ,and my friend that I work with either had it a yr. or 2 before me the lap band that is , so I watched them all with their complications or not and then I went to a seminar and did my research asked a lot of question about the difference in each one and then I decided since the band is reversible I chose I chose to do that and I am 94 lbs down since surgery 14 months ago it has been slow but it is working as I had to buy smaller clothes , I started at 320lbs got down to 276 pre op and starting losing weight a few weeks after surgery post op and still going , this is why I chose the band and like it, what you choose is up to you , but ask , do research and don't be afraid to ask ANY questions .

Done with what or did you make it to your goal if you did that is great , but all is welcome new or old as we bandsters like to read about others or our own experiences, so keep on a comin.

Wow look at you , have u seen your self from when you began this journey you have jumped on this wagon and are running along side it lol keep on running you look healthy, happy and having the time of your life , keep it up ,

You have learned through this journey of what to not and what to do I am sorry that your family is not doing well but remember you are finally taking care of you as we do forget to take time and care for ourselves cause we want to take care of everybody else first , , it is great to hear though that you did not turn to what we know is our real comfort (food) so it is good just keep yourself busy and you won't be thinking of food just make sure to get your drinks and Protein and do what is good for you, and your family.

I would call the doctor anyway to ake sure as I have had a bruise right under where they fill y port and it has lasted 2-3 months and I have one one my leg that sees to be getting bigger , but I had my doc look and y surgeon and pcp said they were both fine not anemic or any deficiency so I will be ok , sorry I don't know why there are lines thru this,

I went for a barrium check up, Good is I lost 10 more lbs Bad my surgeon doesn't like the way my band looks he says it it is laying flatter than should be, but it is doing good , cause I am still losing and we discussed a fill but neither one of us though nessary so that's good.

This sounds absoutley negligent of the Surgeon and his / her assistant as they are putting you at risk and as far as I know they have updated the bands in the last few yrs, and I made sure to ask my surgeon what size band he put in as I knew my stomache was lg, to begin with and if he put in the smaller band I would have had trouble , but this does not sound right at all as I have heard lately their are only 2 size bands the 10 cc & 14 cc so why would they give you 11 cc's in a smaller band or even in a larger one and you might want to ask another band surgeon about this as it took me and I am just saying this for me that it took me a yr to get to the green zone wich I am at 11cc's in a 14 cc band , so just for me I would ask what , why , and where I could find someone who knows what their doing and then sue this surgeon , was their mind not on the patient(you) at all , this is just crazy to me , I hope this gets and goes better for you now just focus on recovering from your ordeal and take it slow , and I am wishing you luck.

Now just follow the post op diet and docs instructions and you will do well as you have been talking to us banders , welcome to band land , and good luck , to the many changes you will see and go through.

Well I went back to my doc another barium swallow all is good , told him about the pinch and pain I had the one day and he did a flouro band is still laying flat but I did lose 6 more lbs, so we discussed a fill I said no and he said ya if it ain;t broke then why fix it lol so we didn't.

I posted the pics and now You can blog so let's get ourselves doing what we are doing best lol on this journey of ours.

Sice about a month I have not been able to post photos as the site says I don't have permission , I am seeing new pics popping up tho , Alex says their updating the system and I would love to post pics when it will let me , maybe after this weekend I hope.

I don't have night coughs , however I am a smoker so I wouldn't know the difference , I do not cough up a lung sort of speak tho , but I do in the morning after I light and smoke that first one , oh I have 11 cc's in a 14 cc band and have not had a fill in 3 months , but I am losing so I don't think I need one I am not at goal but will get there.

Post those pics of the before or after plastic surgery , I want to know how scary it really is , cause I want to be prepared in a yr, or 2 , we'll see if I even need it then lol.
