Here's a few selfies the last one is how I look so far , wow I went back and noticed my face has gotten smaller I did know about the chins being gone but did not really notice my face till some one pointed it out to me.

I am going t and post a before during and still going pic here , I will post later when I am feeling smaller as these plateaus kill me , but I won't give up and I will continue . The first one is before, second during and third still going, the last one was taken in Feburary, 2014. -

Got to post this one in share your nsv's here, I had about the same thing happen to me at the beginning of March , I stopped by where I used to work and one of my old Managers that is like in his 20's looked at e and said dang you have lost a LOT of weight and you look real good , made this 50 yr, Lady feel good , but then I told him I always looked good , there was just more of me , just y sense of humor , he knew it, but I was trying to talk to ne else and he kept staring so it made e feel real good, I know I like the compliments and that is great for you , I bet that made your day for some one to say that you were skinny, I will never e skinny , but I will take healthy and for some one to say that they notice I have los weight. -

Just a suggestion there ay community centers , I know of one in Brea and there is one in Brea , I a pretty sure there are in most of our cites and also some of the Hospitals like UCI and Placentenia Linda , just a thought I think the UCI Hospital is on City Drive in Orange. -

I am also in Orange county Calif, but my work schedule is a variable schedule , I live near Brea, Fullerton and Yorba linda, and I tried to go to a couple of support groups but they wouldn't let me because I did not have surgery with that Doctor, so I have been doing this through support on here from some great people. -
Question For those who have done/are doing Atkins

I tried Atkins for about a month but with my thyroid issues I gained weight so I have to balance between carbs, sugar and other foods how ever I still for my sweet tooth cravings every once in a while I have a Atkins candy, there are some good ones out there and they taste like if I was just having my loaded calories and sugar bars so I have them. -

I am not real sure but I think it is because we tend to drink to fast through a straw and I heard it also makes our band pouch expand that means it lets more food slip through also I heard it can damage your esoughous you might ask your Doc just to make sure , all I do really know is that since I had surgery alost 2 yrs. ago I have not drank through a straw and I tried a slurpee once since surgery and I didn't even hat through a straw but the experience was not good and yes found out they are carbonated. -
There you are , you should post this on Banders exercise , and just to let you know we are on Hey Banders 5 by now , a couple of the guys also post , like catfish and Tomuchfun, and I know they also ride bikes and do marathons and such , I hope you are doing alright and soime one was asking for a cauliflower receipe not to long ago and I mentioned your breadsticks with no bread but with cauliflower, hope Family, Wife, kids and you are doing good.

Just thought I would throw this out here, don't forget about the 5 day pouch test , or maybe try the 2 week pre op again to kick start your journey again, that's what I have tried , I would do the carb cyclying but my band won't let me as I can not do any doughy stuff , and I a just talking about my journey and experience and if I want a sweet I turn to Atkins candy , but they taste just like the real candy bars I tell my self only 1 and no ore even if I want ore so then I either start to do something else or sleep when I can and it s hard for me because I usually work nights. -

Whew!!!! I was thinking it was just e for a while , nice to know that it is not only me that goes through this I got down quite a bit but I have about 60-70lbs more to go and it is tough one day it says lower then the next week it will say between 35 lbs more I was hoping to be at goal by a yr, out but I will even take 2 yrs. out any more than that I will think that I a not being successful and I am really trying, sometimes I think ya I want a doughnut or something like that but I know my band says know to all doughy bread substance so I don't even try it or I want that DR. Pepper drinking habit back but I rather like being able to walk , not being sick and having to go to my PCP all the time and I like the way I feel now, so I guess something is working.

Are you drinking to fast or maybe just to much at one time , just for me and it's almost 2 yrs, I still have to make sure I just drink and not gulp no matter how thirsty I am but it seems if I am full and wait for a couple of hrs, I still will burp and I know better than to take another drink even if I want to be it will come right out, this is just my experience.

Ugg I finally got a new phone it is a android phone and I am trying to uplaod some pics but it won't let me upd o here I a not sure if my settings are right I have tried to do attachements, or go to y settings and where it says jpeg and others it is giving me trouble so if any one can help me banders I would appreciate it it is a kyrocea android cell phone , thanyou i will try anything as I have said before I am sonot tech savy.

Than you for putting Ajtexas in the spotlight this news letter , she has been one of my supporters along with many more and I appreciate that, I am not ready to tell y story just yet but when I do , Alex you and many more will know , However we need to put Carolina girl also known as CG to a few of us in the spotlight as she has lost and does what her Doc. tells her and follows the rules mostly and her Doc. even had her do a testiomonial to people who were thinking of wls and everybody can see the difference and she has came a long way from where she was till now and still going, so I nominate Carolina Girl. -
Help! Best Shock-Absorbing Walking Shoes?

I can't walk without the walk fit inserts at all in any shoes I wear , also I have flat, wide feet so I used to have to go to a specialty wide shoe to get shoes , now I can walk with my walk fit inserts , loo on line for them and my Mother just bought a pair of memory foam shoes from Skechers on line and I tried them they are very comfortable so look online for those also in Tennis shoes, they also have some memory foam sandles , yes they are a little pricey but worth it , hope this helped and of course new balance is al great. -
I have n been able to sleep good the last day in a half as we are Rocking and Rolling , having 5.1 earthquae and some damage to close to home at restuaunts and stores , the store I wor at only had a few things fall in the isles and only 1 bottle of liquor fell , but my Family and friends are fine , I am the one who gets stressed and shook up and scared when these happen , but I have my little snacks, a case of Isopure and a case of water bottles and a 12 p of tp and a blanket, tooth brush, toothpaste in my car just in case of a emergency so I am good , you would thin I live in my car , but I guess I a a little preped if I need to get out in a hurry lol, yes soe of you have had bad storms and wheather and it looked , so now I guess it's our turn in California to get the worst, ugg..

No i Thanks Bandista. I have the burps too, which I have to weirdly admit feel awesome! Lol! My husband is like that's real sexy, I'm like hey it comes with the band. :-) I plan on calling my nutritionist on Monday. Maybe it's something I'm eating. Yep
