is it normal to feel good restriction even with your first fill ? before I got it I was able to eat anything I felt no restriction after I was fully healed but after my first fill I got a few weeks ago I feel my restriction is really good I get my cup of food in and am satisfied for a while .

so i was banded December 19th i am now a month and some days post op and decided today i was going to look through pictures and this is the one i saw ( one on left ) i sat there and cried for a while, i couldn't believe i looked like that.. Ive only lost 30 pounds so far and still have a long way to go ( my goal is to loose 100) . i know as i loose more of the weight and continue to look back at pictures i will have a lot of these moments but i really couldn't believe it i was so upset but happy that i made the decision to get the lap band. i feel so good everyday now and after my crying stopped i new i will never ever go back to that and it just gives me even more of a push to work hard at my weight loss. just thought i had to share this . PICTURE LEFT : Summer- highest weight- 272 RIGHT : Now- weight- 246

I'm 20 years old and it is the best decision I've made ! I'm only one month out but I feel so great all ready and happy that I made this decision now rather than later before I really became sick. good luck on deciding for yourself

i have cigna and at first it requires 6 month diet but found out from people on this website that it changed to 3months which was perfect so my surgical office called and had cigna send them that info on paper. also required psyc evaluation and reccomendation from my primary doctor . i was approved and banded 12/19
