Morning All... Just wanted to drop in wish you all a happy day.
-
Wow...I knew it was amazing before... but seeing the pictures side by side... Wowza Dianne!!!! It's not just the weight-loss that is so amazining... you can see vibrancy and happiness emerge.
-
Hey Betty ((((Hugs)))) ... It's hard enough to handle having one seriously ill loved one... you really have so much to handle. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
-
Donna... that must have just made your week! It looks like the life of a soldier is agreeing with him! Dianne... I can't wait for all of the boring pictures...bring em on girl!
-
Well Mandy... one problem down! You've got to admit... kitties are very tempting! My dogs live with the hope that one of the three we have will dart across the room and give them a good reason to give chase! Only one of our cats will put up with Ava... the other two just glare and hiss at her. Sounds like she is just a lovely girl!
-
Hey All Pat... Love the pictures... I just wanted to reach in and grab that baby and lay kisses on that chubby little neck! Congrats on the NSV... we'll be needing some pictures of you in those shorts! Cindy... Love the story about the perps... I sat here giggling with the picture of them running and falling with theri baggy britches! Beanie... Glad you had fun but sorry about the Mavs! Hope you were able to get some sleep! Sherry... Bummer about the crud at work...hope it all gets ironed out soon! What a great NSV with the picture... I think you need to share with your pals here... yep... Dianne... Honestly... You just look fabulous! You were absolutely adorable before but it's like looking at a different person! WTG girl...you are an inspiration! Well... At lease there are no sick dogs today...no vet bills... and I did get my lazy butt out to work out! Heading out to walk a few dogs at the shelter... talk at ya later!
-
Dianne.. the difference is utterly amazing... You look wonderful!

I know!!!! When he said it in regards to this episode she had over the weekend... i was like...huh???? Anyhoo... I am getting ready to do a little research online as I am having a hard time settling into that DX. I mean really... could one little shepherd have that much bad luck? Step into that hot bubble bath Patty (pretend it is 30 below) and shut out the world for at least 10 minutes... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I hope your bathtub is nicer than mine because I can barely wedge my buttocks into a sitting position in my tub...lol. Not terribly relaxing.

If you do a search online... type in Walk Away the Pounds and tons of links will come up. She now has a 4 and a 5 mile. I catually can finish the four mile but started out with the one mile. I found a set of the 1/2/3 mile on eBay for a very good price! THey are easy to follow... and a good workout.
-
Ohhh.... and I had some stretchy bands that work great for the reps... especially when you are doing walking videos. Some of Leslie's older Walk Away the Pounds videos used them... they really work great. I have a little pink one for my daughter so that we can work together.

Merci!!!!!!!

I do the Walk Away the Pounds 3 and 4 mile... a lot less boring than the treadmill. I also walk my pups and the pups at the shelter.
-
Well... You already know this ... circuit training but with weighted machines. Oh... and I keep my ice cream really frozen hard so that I have to use a lot of muscle to get it out of the carton.
-
Hey Beanie... Imaginary friends are the best... they help explain all of the voices in your head....hehehehe. Hope you are having a good time! Kat... Wowza...that's a very big whoops on the drug error! Although... Xanax would have given you a very good nights sleep! THere is something wrong with my brain... so probably an epilepsy drug might have actually helped my condition...lol. 245 dollars later I am back from the morning trip to the vet... crap... if I thought I could sell my body for anything I'd walk the streets with a neon sign...lol. NOW he is thinking that along with her auto-immune disease that she has epilepsy! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!! Calgon take me away!!!! Anyhoo... I was up half the night with her and her lovely diarrhea last night... and I'm pooped. (No pun intended). Now I hafta go get my teeth cleaned... AHhhh... the fun never ends! Have a great day everyone!

It is a protein shake and it was the best one I found for taste... the chocolate is delicious and I've heard that the unflavored mixes well into soups and such. It's a little expensive... but take it from a girl that spent a lot of money on gross supplements... it is worth it! You can find it at http://www.unjury.com Good luck with your surgery!
-
Sorry Alexandra... the perfect job awaits and it sounds like you are all fired up and ready to find it... when one door closes another opens... just keep on a knocking!

Hey guys... Well... it looks like the palpitations are a result of hyperthyroidism that is being caused by my multi-nodular goiter. How much does it suck to be fat and have HYPERthyroidism! Shouldn't I be skinny... bone thin... a shadow of my former self???? Oh well...lol. Anyhoo... they finally but me on a beta blocker to hopefully control the palps while we figure out what to do with my thyroid. Oh... and then we go to Walgreens to pick up my Toprol XL (Beta Blocker)and they had a nice bottle of Topamax (Medication for epilepsy)... YIKES. THat would have been a rather large medication error! Thank goodness she asked me what I was taking the medication for... when I said I was taking a beta-blocker for palpatations I swear the color drained from her face....whoopsie! Hope Everyone had a great day!
-
I have a badass dog too. Ava is a long coated German Shepherd... it's funny... people come up to her with free abandon because she has a long coat and looks fluffy and pretty... not a good idea with this girl... grrrrrrr.
-
Two Dogs and three cats here... I live in Hairball City. I do have a Frog... but he's in the garden hiding under my tomato plants.
-
Morning All... Just wanted to wish you all a happy week. Thanx for all the prayers and crossed fingers for my pup... she seems to be feeling much better! Off to take some pictures of my multi-nodular goiter... doesn't that just sound gross??? Maybe the whacked out thyroid levels are causing all of the palpatations. Did the Mav or the Heat win??? Cindy... you'll start losing again... sometimes I think the body just takes a break and adjusts and then... back to business. Patty... Thanks for the compliment... it sure feels good to be rid of all of the fuzzy hair! I'm glad to hear that Robbie is eating and will hopefully gain the strength he needs for his new heart. The backyard camping excursion sounds like fun... what a great Mom you are! I am wildly jealous about your night with J. Depp... I can't wait to see that movie so please tell all! Betty... Sorry about the foot and back... I guess you are just going to have to depend on that beautiful pool for your exercise! Hopefully one or the other will feel better soon! Oka... Really going this time...
-
Yep... I sure do... I want to take them all home with me every time I leave! THe next best thing is helping in the ways that we can... toys... food... leashes... even something as simple as bleach and mop heads! It's really heart breaking to go see first hand how unprepared many humans are for the responsibility of pet ownership. If we had a fenced yard I think I would at least foster some of the dogs that are totally stressed in the shelter environment. Like you... I'd love to have a big ole farm with room enough for all of them!
-
Mandy... That is so wonderful!!! I know our humane society... has a very long wish list! I am going to have to stop by our dollar store and check out puppy and kitty toys!
-
Ahhh... chicken... white or dark... Satan's meat indeed! There is one place here that make a salad with the most moist chicken and I can eat that with dressing on the salad... but that is it! The worst PB I ever had was after trying to eat asparagus... it was not pretty.
