Hey all... I have yet to hit one of the famous threads that link to another site but I think it is because I never click on a thread that is started by a new member with an odd title. There are some that look pretty odd to me right now and they must to others too because they have only one view each. Anyhoo... I'm not clicking on them! Dianne... Sorry your get up and go ... got up and went! If this is unusual for you and continues you probably should see your doctor with the history of Lyme disease. Hope you feel better soon! Crispy... Good to see you! Sorry for all of the weirdo crud on the forum... hopefully it will go back to normal someday! Do you have pics of your sister's designs???? I would love to see them! Eileen...don't stay away... we will miss you too much. (((hugs)))

Newbie, Banded 8/11....my Bday
nightingale2u replied to LISA T's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Welcome to LBT and congratulations on being banded! I hope you find all of the support and information you need here! -
Crikey folks! Steve Irwin had a great mission of conservation and I don't think many really question his love for his wife...his children and definitely not for animals and their welfare! He was a charismatic guy that brought a lot of attention to his cause by being a bit whacky... WTG Steve!!! May he rest in peace and may his family find peace and strength during this very difficult time.

Boy...you really have been handed some tough news! I hope that your hubby will respond to the medications that are available for MS and slow the progression. How is he handling the diagnosis? In regards to your band... I hope that it will be as simple as an unfill... keep us updated and hang in there! -
Hey Mel... Welcome to LBT and wishing you a smooth journey into Bandland! Hope you find all of the help and support that you need here!

Your cat is ALMOST as round as mine. I have one that looks rather like a striped beach ball.

-
Yes... it is very sad...

Pat... Not everyone needs to own a pet... there is nothing wrong with adoring the ones that belong to someone else. I feel the same way about having children... having them is optional. WOW on the one picture showing the winds! I would have been freaking out...lol. Glad you are okay! Oh... and as always... you look great... surprised you can get anything done as I imagine the hubby is chasing your hinder all over the place! Kat.... OMIGOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is a big ole difference there girl... you should be so proud of yourself! You look great! WOW!

Is it possible to find out WHO is at the bottom of this whole issue??? I realize there is always some risk when in cyberspace but yikes... this is pretty freaky for a support group site!

He doubled his size in one week... LOLOLOLOL. He really is the cutest guy! I love big dogs so I was thrrilled when they brought him home. I get to love on him and play with him without having to do any of the potty training or middle of the night crying and such. This is supposed to be my BIL's dog and he is supposed to take care of ALL of his needs...LOL... did my sister forget that he works all day???? HEHEHEHE. Oh..they have a bulldog too... and 5 children at home?
-
Mary... Vegas is fun with or without kids. When I was there there were kids all over the place and families having a blast! Have fun!
-
Greg... You party animal :huggie:
-
Morning Ladies! Mary... You really sound like you are in a much better place now! I'm so glad that the yuckiness is almost over and you can just get going with the business of living and enjoying life with your kids. Patty... Yeah... my band won't let me have ANYTHING remotely similar to bread of any kind...lol. I'd give my left arm for a balogna sandwich. I bet you are a terrific cook... I get by but I can't say it's my favorite thing to do! THey won't be using my name on any food boxes anytime soon! I have some old pictures of a zoo we visited when we came back from Africa (I was 16) and I am pretty sure it was Santa Barbara. I'll have to ask my Momma. THe Milwaukee Zoo is the biggest zoo near us and it is okay... I think the weather in Wisconisin makes having a beautiful big zoo difficult at best. Cindy... Sorry about the estate issues! We set up our will to be very specific and to take things out of the hands of family as much as possible. My Mom set her will up the same way so hopefully we will never have to have or cause any issues like that! Eileen... WHEW! Thanks for that piece of mind... I'm running a little short these days...lol. I totally hear you on the being over 300... I was 257 when I got banded and there is not a doubt in my mind I would be well over 300 by now... I was binging out of control! I may have regained and I may never lose again with my band... but I still think it is a success for keeping me fairly steady between 224-226. Anyhoo... Hope you feel better soon and that you had fun shopping this morning! Pat... You didn't blow away didja???? Hope you didn't suffer a lot of damage and I have a feeling you are going to have a very busy business now! I'm about ready to send out troups to find Donna... Dianne... I'm glad Lucy is home... hope she is feeling better! I'm glad your fill went well and darned if this band won't take care of our mental issues with food and eating and weight. My sister and I talk often of going to see a doctor to find out what is going on with the junk in our trunks. THere must be a REASON I can't stop myself from eating... thinking of eating... treating pain with eating... treating anxiety with eating... and the list goes on and on! Good luck with this fill... (((hugs))) TTFN...

My sister's new baby... Moe... He's gonna be a biggun!

Well Cindy... I don't know if was good... but I feel it was right and that is JMHO. I didn't post any further out of respect for the moderators... with the exception of one. Anyhoo... it's depressing and discouraging and I never feel good when I say bad things to anyone... even if it seems to be asked for. Well... maybe it feels good for a minute or two...lol. Dianne... No worries... it would be the last website I would ever visit. Betty... Bless you as you come home from work and head to LBT to moderate. Please accept my apologies for participating in the Crapfest. Has anyone tried contacting Doc/Donna per PM... I really am worried about her but I don't want to intrude on her privacy. Pat... I love ya girl... thank you so much for supporting me... you really are a good friend. (((hugs))) Sherry... How is everything with the work situation today???? (((hugs))) Patty... If you made pancakes this morning... I missed them! I really do miss pancakes... haven't had them for over 2 years. Mary...Good luck with the doggums... those are really cute with the hair flying off those perky ears! I hope it works out as animals really can reduce stress when they are helathy that is...lol. Sorry your brother is going through custody issues now... a pretty common life theme for many these days! Kat... How's every little thing today??? Anne... Haven't seen you for awhile... what's up? Allison... Hope you find us over here. Sounds like you have your hands full with kiddlings! Eileen... Don't be mad at me girl... I'm just not good with crazy folks. I can see me working in a mental institution telling all the nuts to knock it off and act normal. Beannie... Is this the long weekend alone with the hubby???? If I forgot anyone... I apologize... the brain is a frazzle today. HAve a great holiday weekend everyone!
