Hello all, It's my first time really posting here. I'm so glad I found this site. I'm having my surgery in NJ but I'm moving to Salisbury,NC shortly after. I found a place in Raliegh to have fills and follow ups done, but that's two nous from me. Does anyone know of a center near Salisbury? It's halfway between Charlotte and Greensboro off I85. Thanks -
Hello, My surgery date is 12/12/12 also. I think that means good luck! I started my liquid diet yesterday. I think this is going to be the hardest part. I don't have my insurance approval yet. But hopefully it will happen next week. Let's keep in touch 12/12/12 banders! I'm in North Jersey.

Hello, My surgery date is 12/12/12. I did my pre-surg registration this week. One more nutrition class and a meeting with my surgeon two days before on the 10th. Today is the 2nd day of my liquid diet. It's not as bad as I thought it would be because I try not to think about it. I know it will get harder. I had to help set up a banquet last night. Soooo hard. But I did it. Good luck to you.

Happy Bandaversary! My surgery date is set for 12/12/12. I'm excited and nervous. But mostly excited. I'm doing all my doctor's visits and I actually attended a post-op support group meeting. It was great. I've started cutting smaller pieces of food and I'm practicing chewing each bite 30-40 times. If I lose 60 pounds in one year - l will be ecstatic! Way to go. Keep up the great work.
