Teresa my guess on that question would be that this board has grown so much since I have been a member over the last year. One person handling this job just may be too much for them, if my memory serves me correctly there has always been 2, Alex and Tangerine I could be wrong though, just my guess as to why more moderators

Princess I think all Pat was saying is we all have really gotten to know and grown to care for Ryan and his wife Patty over the months, We have been with him through alot of ups and downs with himself and his wife's health problems while he has been here. His posts are the most inspirational. Nothing bad against you Princess, you being a member here is important, what you have to say is important, we just have not gotten to know you yet in the month you have been here on a more personal level is all. Please do not take offense to any of this

love cooking with cookbooks as a matter of fact i just purchased from a school kid selling door to door called "eating better* lower carb*less fat* fresher ingredients" every recipe in there looks very band friendly. it is a recipe book from teachers all across america who are home econimic teachers..i occassion as i surf the tv will land on the food network

Yes go back to basics. Keep a water bottle filled with ice cold water handy at all times. I keep one with me 24/7, it helps. Drink water instead of picking or grazing. Protein first. Protein curbs the appetite. Carbs crave carbs, the more carbs you eat the hungrier you get. it is a vicious cycle. start your day with protein only you will be amazed at how less hungrier you are

I have heard that allergies or sinus infections will tighten you up like a drum I have been fortunate to have neither. I hope you feel better soon

Tinkerbell I have ZERO regrets. I would do it over again in a heartbeat. It has been so much easier then I ever imagined. I have lost 80.5 lbs in almost 11 months with minimal effort. I just started exercising full board Feb 1st, most of my weight loss was with No exercise. I have not felt deprived one single bit. Good Luck on your decision.

Bright I would love to fly to New York , it is my favorite place to go and visit. I know that city fairly good.NYC is a blast, so much to do and so much to see and such great food I used to go there every 3 months for a little getaway. If you plan something let me know, I have lots of frequent flyer miles to use up !

What is a moderators job, if they can not moderate Removing the thread Marie addmitted to removing does not affect me in any way shape or form or does not affect the reason I come here. I come here for Lap Band related issues,& support I beleive the intent from the author of that thread was a band related issue but was taken a different way from many members here and the replies showedthat., and after reviewing it and its contents I'm sure Marie had good reason to delete it. If it was a true band related issue with proper band related repsonses I doubt highly it would of ever been deleted. She is a moderator, she moderated. Plain and simple I also agree with Donali, if someone attacks me in a PM, I willsend it to the moderators and hope they dop their job as a moderator and take action against the person sending the PM, if the moderator sits aback and does nothing about it I will do as Donali stated, it will NOT be kept private and If I get removed from this board for doing so then so be it.No one will attack me and I sit back and ignore it I would like this board to get back to what it is designed for and I know I speak for many many members here. It is diffucult for me to come here and see all of this hatered amongst a few certain members. " can't we all just get along" I too am extremely happy that guidlines will be put in place here at LBT

I agree with Megan on Sue's first thought, it make total sense. When I had esophagitis my esophagus was so swollen I could not eat any solids. The prevacid really helped me to repair my damage esophagus.

Thank You Alex..I am very pleased to hear this, because what I have been wittnessing this week with a certain member attacking another has been absolutely disgusting and so uncalled for. Does this also apply for personal attacks in a PM??? because if I get any personal attacks from any member I will cut and paste it here in the public forum for all to read . I feel personal attacks should not be allowed anywhere in this board . What will be the consequence if another member personally attacks another member? Will they be asked to leave the board or what? I was shopping for souvenirs on El Revolucion in TJ ( the main tourist shopping street) the next morning after my surgery ..everyone is different. I have had 3 c-sections and this was a piece of cake compared to my C-sections pain wise

Corgi..I did the exact samething LOL I ate carnitas, rice & bean andtortillas up until midnight the night before my surgery. My Dr. did not require any pre op diet so I took full advantage of the "Last Supper" . You are not alone
