What you think may be hunger could also be the rumbling of the gasses left in your from surgery. More protein drinks will help and like Funnyduddies said, the thicker soups help. One thing that also helped me was jello, it was like eating food for me since I got to use a spoon and not just a straw or a glass..my head thought it was food.

Tylenol puts out a great Adullt strength Liquid tylenol. I only found it at Wal Mart though.

I just asked one of the moderators why are some threads locked and others are not? Seems if one negative mean spirited thread is locked they all should be regardless of the thread starter or regardless of whatever forum they are in! Iam waiting for a reply from the mods on this one.

We too donate to The Cancer society and the Luekemia Lymphoma Society every motnh since 2 of my 4 boys had cancer. I also donate to "Make A Wish Foundation" my younger son had his wish granted and my older son did not survive to see his wish granted. It is a fabulous organization. People donate because they want to not because they have to is how I see it.

Are you kidding? That is fantastic. Any wieght loss during the pre fill stage is a bonus and it is quite normal to not lose any weight once you go back to solids, it will take a few weeks for your body to adjust to it having real food. Everyone has experienced this going from liquids or mushies to solids, you are normal. Here is a great site on fills, I hope you find it helpful to you http://lapbandtransformation.com/Adjustments.htm Also here is a great thread I started months back for newbies. Read it! It may help also http://www.lapbandtalk.com/showthread.php?t=9148&highlight=inamed+handbook

Mandy, I sure would hate to see you leave just because of a few people here on this board. Your posts are always so kind and pleasant. Rethink this, do not let any one here rune you off. Do not give them the satisfaction We value you here. Believe me I know how you are feeling I once wanted to leave a year ago when I had a similar issue with a member here but I was not going to let that happen, I have too many friends here and need the support of this group. I hope after a few days you have a change of heart and come back :huggie: If not then I wish you the best

I know for me even if I make healthy choices but if they consist of carbs I am hungrier. More protein maybe? Protein curbs hunger. Carbs only make you crave more carbs. I only start my day with protein ONLY, it keeps my hunger at bay for most of the day but if I slip up and have any sugar or carbs in the morning, the beast in me comes out and I binge all day long.

Go shopping, buy yourself something pretty. Get your nails and toes done. I know for me when I was feeling blue I would go shop and shop in the "normal " size department, no longer in the "plus " size department, that always made me feel better. Also instead of focusing only on what the numbers on the scale say and how many pounds you have lost, sit down a write a list of all of the good things in your life that have changed since your band and the 77lbs lost, for example, more enegry, no aches and pains in your feet or back, more people notice me and comment me on my weight loss, more social etc..you get my drift. Do not let the scale dictate your success with your band NSV"s are just as important. Hang in there. :huggie:

I have 3 boys ages 18, 14 ,12 and I told them the day I scheduled my surgery. I explained everything to them, they had a month or two to digest it all and ask any questions they may had ovet that course of time.

Susan how are you able to delete your entire post? None of us other members are able to? Are you a moderator with moderator priviledges or did you get a moderator to do it for you? Hmm..interesting.The only way us members can delete a post is to edit it but our name stil lstays on that post, everything from your post is gone. I'd like to know how, becasue there have been times I would like to delete my entire post but I can't. Can you explain it to us members, maybe Iam doing something wrong here.

Susan In my opinion by you posting this PM from Lisa in a public thread is not better then what you are accussing Lisa of doing. This is mean spirited and cruel. This should be kept private. I'm curious if the moderators though will also ban you for "attacking the person" like Lisa got banned for doing This was your post to me less then a half hour ago. You are doing the exact same thing by making this PM public for everyone to read. Like the saying goes. 2 wrongs do not make a right.

HEY FROM Kraggie Hope TN
La_madam replied to nothanks's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Photonut I hear you but the same can be said for your friend Funnyduddies. I have been reading her posts and she is being very condescending to some of the members here including myself. I am not a mean person, and I do not lie so for her to come back at me with a condescending tone is mean and hateful. I came here to shed light on this to let you all know they are not one in the same person. I know no.name and I know Fitter. But you all have it out for Lisa so you think that anything she is involved with here is a lie or a game but today no.name and Fitter are two different people. Iam going to move on from this thread because it is futile. I've said what I have had to say, believe what you will. -

Do you know proper grammar? Before you judge someone on how they spell maybe you should take a look at your grammar. We all make typos here (even you) none of us are perfect. -

Funny, I know you are an intelligent woman. Think about all of this OK. It does not take a genuis to figure this out. They got you all runnin in circles like a dog chaisng its' tail. You dont know me from Adam but those who know me personally here and have met me in person will tell you Iam one of the most honest and kindest people you will ever meet. So if you want to think Iam lying to you, then that is your choice but again Fitter and no name are NOT one in the same. But I bet they both are having a good laugh at your expense because you are al lthinking they are one in the same. -

Funnyduddies do you have proof of this? I can tell you this, we all know Fitter is Lisa but I can assure you that Noname is not Lisa. She is a friend of mine here who was once scared off by some oth the members here in this thread, as far as Psusan goes I have no clue who that is! This link says there is a Craggie Hope Church in TN on Craggie Hope Rd. http://archives.umc.org/Directory/DistrictChurches.asp?mid=556&District=03&Conference=783 CHURCH: CRAGGIE HOPE Address: 1181 CRAGGIE HOPE RD KINGSTON SPRINGS, TN 37082 Contact: Pastor: Rev Troy Slay Here is another link that proves Craggie Hope exists. http://members.tripod.com/~Wilson_Network/html/fam02891.htm There is a Craggie Hope in TN do a search -

Where is this room I will show my numbers Iam a success -
have him remove .2 -.3 cc's it wil lstill give you the extra .3-.4 cc's above your last fill, having as little as that ammount removed makes the biggest difference. You will still have restriction but be able to get down liquids. if you can not get liquids down you are way too tight. What did the Dr. say when you called him?
