As soon as I get close to 200 lbs I freak out and end up gaining the weight back. 2 years ago I was introduced to running, specifically trail runs. With little effort the weight melted off. When I mean little effort I mean little effort in watching what I ate. Running was a lot of effort and I trained hard. I was training to run the NWM 26.2 in 2011 when I did a 10k trail run with 4000 ft elevation change. As I was finishing I hurt my back. Turns out I had a herniated disk. So I had to stop my training.
I cannot run now until I am under 200 lbs. I had the surgery to get a life line for not gaining the weight back.
