  1. I heard that too. 30% effort to my doc is minimal. Don't eat sliders, walk a little, eat only 1 c at a time, take Vitamins. The green zone was the point my dr was making. They would take you to the green zone, get 11bmi drop. Your determination to get the rest off is then up to you. He says usually two years to get the 50% weight off using this program. Of course, exercising more, eating that 1 c. Of healthy foods and fixing the head hunger early on will speed up the process.
  2. Well yes butttttttt....I was 36 in jan. gained weight through April. My surgeon still wanted a diagnosis for sleep apnea before submitting for approval.

    Fill Or Not

My sergeons office has a form like that. They gave me a folder with 8 of them and I fill one out each time before I go to an appointment.
  4. The slips depend on you. Eating solids too early, eating too much, vomiting, exerting yourself, all these things...you have to be really careful so you are not a statistic even if it is hard at first!
  5. I got mine through Swanson Vitamins online. Chewable.

    Pain

I started a thread a while ago about the shoulder pain because it wasn't until I had my post op appointment that I found out wait was causing it. Shoulder pain- revealed Other bansters explained it there better than I did!
  7. Well that depends. Preop diet, coming off sugar and caffeine can cause a little bit. Once that is done then its pretty smooth accept for one thing....for me anyway.....I ate to stuff down emotions. Now I have to deal with them. That means expressing disappointment, sadness, frustration, boredom etc. however, I am so happy with the result that I really can't say I'm irritable or feel like i do when on a diet!
