It could be from the stitching. Did he fix a hiatal hernia too? Sometimes that can be the cause of the back pain.

I am coloring my hair with Demi-color. Not as harsh. I also use Wen hair products that keeps my hair so awesome that I can't believe it. I lose a lot during tax season each year due to stress, long hours, and poor nutrition so it is nothing new to me. It always comes back though.

Hello! I was banded Oct 5. I started the process in Jan though. Had a few snags along the way but here I am 2 months post op tomorrow and I'm down a total ( including preop) 42.2 lbs! I was so apprehensive and green when I joined this forum in September. I've made some awesome friends though who understand what I'm going through. Do you get a fill the day of surgery or start with just the band?_ it depends on your surgeon. Some do, some don't. Mine did not. He said they like to make sure if there is any problem right after surgery they know what the source is ( the band vs the band and the fill). Also do you schedule your first fill the day of surgery?_ it depends on your surgeon. usually you would have a follow up visit about a week after your surgery. Your dr will then tell you his schedule for fills. My followup was one week after. Then my fill was three weeks after that.

I have the realize band too. My dr said it takes a little longer to reach the green zone but it is a more flexible band and the port is flatter. I didn't want a cone striking out of my tight abs

Congratulations on taking this step now. We are all here to support you on your journey. I thought some of the same things! What if it doesn't work, what if I fail to lose. Then I just thought to myself, how can I fail? Only if I don't follow the rules will I fail. I watched a lot of ghrelinBGone and BandedWendy videos on YouTube. GhrelinBGone said " I didn't want any part of my postop to resemble my preop" it made so much sense to me. Take care of yourself, follow your teams orders to the t, relax and enjoy the ride!
