That's ridiculous!

I had my surgery Tuesday and came home yesterday. I am sore by the biggest incision and I know when i'm gonna burp quite a bit because my shoulder will hurt. I've been sipping and walking. I'm nervous to last on my side. At the hospital I am so happy that I brought chapstick!

Get vegtable, chicken and/or beef broth, sf jello, sf popsicles, water bottles, crystal light power to add to your water, ice or make ice, protein shakes or protein powder, skim milk, vitamin zero, powerade zero, and drinks that have no calories. Thats great that they moved your surgery because then you get up go and don't have time to think about much. I'll be thinking of you Can't wait to hear about how everything went. I had lap band and was only in the hospital for a day

I can't believe a job would try to pull some bullshit and have you off without pay. They can be sued for causing you pain and suffering. Also for putting you back emotionally. I hope that you get to the bottom of it and make them pay!! Everyone who has had surgery WOOHOO!!! We certainly have been through some trying times!! Thank you to all of you for giving support, kind words and being here for not only me but each other. Too bad the world isn't always so helpful to others. I'm on the liquid diet still and have an appt with the Dr Oct 4th. Who's left to have surgery? Make sure you have a pillow in the car for the ride home its comfy for you and you don't have the seatbelt on your tummy. CHAPSTICK CHAPSTICK CHAPSTICK!!! Ice chips will taste yummers! Walk as much as you can because it helps and you want to get out of the hospital I can't believe September is almost over. We are on the LOSERS BENCH!!!!

Congrats to all my 25th surgery buddies! I'll try and post pictures tomorrow. I am so proud of everyone!! I'm in pain and thankfully my husband went to get my pain medicine

I'm home!!! Tuesday morning we had some construction and car accidents that we had to get through but we go to the hospital a little late but safe. Surgery went perfect. I was in recovery for about an hour. Went to my room and finally got to see my husband. We walked and spent some time together and then he went home to the kids. I tried to sleep but couldn't so I walked, would doze in and out. The nurses were shocked that I was walking so much, in some pain but managed it with meds and wanted to get out of the hospital so of course I wanted them to know I was able to be released. I had my x-ray to make sure my lap band had no leakage. The drinks they made me sip...NASTY! But lap band is working perfectly! My husband and 2 of our girls came to pick me up but I had to wait to drink my lunch and made sure everything stayed down. Now i'm home and am happy to be able to sleep in my own bed. Oh I forgot to mention with working out and the liquid diet I lost 14 pounds!!

I'm on the way to the hospital. I can feel my body shaking a bit inside. Is this what anxiety is it feels like?

Keep your head up! Be possitive!! I know it was tough for me to get in also. Maybe this is a good thing so that way you can have everything set up for you

Worked out Van is cleaned House is cleaned Laundry is done Diaper bag is packed for hospital Gas in the van Pillow ready for the ride home Kids bags packed for a sleep over tomorrow Snacks for hospital for them Packed for hospial Excited and anxious I got a call that my surgery was moved from 11:30 to 10am tomorrow Guess i'm ready for tomorrow and done everything I can to make things easier on my husband. Is your surgeons office close to where you live? If it is go over there and ask them whats going on. If its not then keep calling them a few times a day. Don't give up!!

I had a dream that I was locked in a room with Biggest Loser members and they had piles of food on a tables that seemed never ending...haha I firgued it was because there is a guy where I work out that was on the show and since i'm on the liquid diet.

Sorry that you broke up but don't loose focus on yourself. You are doing the surgery for yourself. You want to be healthy and around longer for your kids. Don't put your head down keep your head up high and focus on YOU!! Maybe this is a perfect time for you to reflect on who is worth standing by your side while your going through this journey. You have to remember you just had surgery. Tell your husband and son that if they don't help then your going away for a few days and they will have to do everything themselves. Hopefully they will help when you tell them that

It goes back to when your a little kid never let someones negative, rude and mean words get to you. They are just words and should go in 1 ear and right out the other ear. I don't tell a lot of people because its none of their business, they are not me, and i'm not intrested in their comments. You have to choose if this journey is for you. I researched about having surgery for over 2 years before I made my decision. I'm having lap band on Tuesday and i'm excited for my loosing journey. If you have questions ask and there are many wonderful people who will help you get answers. In the end the only person who has the decision for you is YOU!! Good luck with your decision and do not let anyone tell you what to do or not to do because its your health and your body

I would call your insurance company and tell them that your not happy with the surgeons office and want to switch surgeons. See if they will cover everything and if you don't have to start all over. Good luck. Sorry to hear that your surgeons office sucks
