Hello, I am a 44 y/o female in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I was banded in July 2011 and have been very unsuccessful. Looking for another female in the Milwaukee or Chicago area (Northwestern suburbs) for mentorship. Pre-surgery date I lost approximately 20 pounds and another 15 pounds post surgery. About 2 months or so after surgery, I lost my health insurance and was no longer able to continue the fills. I think I have approximately 3 cc's in my band, 4 cc's at the very most. I have gained all the weight back and am very disgusted and disapointed with myself. I plan on buying the Protein powder shakes tomorrow and am going to try back on the liquid diet to try and shrink my pouch, but I realize (more than ever) that this is a journey and I need a mentor, budd - someone who can relate and understand the struggles I am encountering.
