I understand completely. I was just banded on Monday and Sunday I freaked out. My friend who was banded 3 years ago called me, calmed me down and told me it is and will be worth it. She said it's not easy, but you will be glad you took that step. She said if she had her time to do again she would have gotten banded sooner and doesn't regret it one bit. Hope that helps!!

Did Anyone Get Sick From Anesthesia?

My surgery was the 24th at 7 am and should have been able to go home that day but the anesthesia made me sick. I spent the first 12 hours after surgery dry heaving and it was painful. I am feeling much better now but still have pain at the port sight. On the good side I am not hungry at all!! -

They kept giving me anti-nausea medz but nothing seemed to help. I don't know if they gave me one before the surgery but I would highly suggest to anyone about to go into surgery to ask for one beforehand!
