I'm here crying my eyes out, I broke down today and ate 2 slices of thin crust pizza . I'm in my mushie phase of the diet so I know I'm not suppose to eat things like that . I feel so bad about what I've done, because I've been doing so well I really need some comfort right now

I Dont Need To Be Criticized
futuresize8 replied to futuresize8's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
thank you all soo much!! once I calmed down I sat back and laughed at how emotional I was being about the whole situation lol . I was really scared that my band would slip or something because of what I ate. but thanks guys for all the support . -
I was banded on October 1st. Around the 9th day post op, I was feeling much better. meaning I had no more gas pain, I could sleep on my side and I was starting to feel hungry. I have been sticking to my post op diet and the amount of food I'm suppose to eat. yesterday I started feeling a sharp pain on my right side when I take a deep breath. has anyone else experienced this?

I was talking with some friends today who had the lap band they told me during their clear liquid phase they would use the packets from roman noodles and just use that as a broth (no noodles) I was thinking of trying this too?. I wanted to get some advice from some veterans

under one of my cuts ( I was cut 5 times during surgery) I feel a lump. I was banded 5 days ago, and I have steadily been loosing weight since getting banded . now that the swelling in my shoulder is going down, is this my band that I am feeling, or could it be something else? I just noticed it.

I was banded on 10/1, and the first night I couldn't keep any of the food that the hospital gave me down . but after that first day I have been able to keep everything down. I am following the post op diet, strictly liquids. my question is once I hit the 1 week post op mark should I move ontoto the mushie phase?

I know that the fills are required, but does your insurance pay for each time you have to have a fill? I have tricare south, so for anyone else who has tricare please feel free to answer. and if insurance doesnt cover the fills, about how much does each fill cost? -
soo I will be turning 21 on the 21st of October and I will be getting banded on the 1st of October . am I allowed to drink alcohol? around the three week mark? my surgeon didn't really go over this, nor did my nutritionist when were discussing my diet . my health is wayyyyy more important than being able to have my first drink , I just wanted to know

I've never had to pay a co pay . I have tricare south Houston , my surgeon is dr. harvinderpal Singh . I will call tricare in the morning about the fills. thanks for all the responses my surgery is on Monday, I'm getting sooo excited -
I don't get banded until monday ( 10/1 ) but I wanted to know of anyone saw a difference in the body about 3 weeks after the surgery. my mom is getting remarried 3 weeks after my surgery and I am a bridesmaid in the wedding. I have already bought the dress for the wedding . I am kind of scared that it won't fit right or that I will have to get alterations done to it because of weight loss .

Dionna, I'll be 21 on the 21st of October . I get banded on October 1st . looking fwd to the messages -
from what I have been reading, when you get banded there is no restriction until you get your first fill. is this true or does it depend on the surgeon ?
