I have PCOS, which in turn makes me insulin resistant. I take 1000mg of metformin. I can swallow them w/o any problem

Well. Tomorrow it will be 30 days since my surgery. I have lost 10.75 inches from my body. I have lost 17 pounds since surgery date. 32 pounds since seminar in February. I had my first fill Wednesday the 24th w/ 3cc. Im so happy I cried a littlw today lol!

My first fill today too!!! Down 15 pounds. 3cc

well the burning in my sternum is still there, but I think its better. My surgeon too said some people just have more swelling than others. He made me feel lots better because I was feeling like a wuss.

I was sleeping on my side the night I had surgery.

I'm sorry you're having trouble. I think we have to remember its only day 4 ! I know it's hard to see the bigger picture when you're not feeling well' date=' but it will get better. My band is spasming so bad I've called the Dr twice ! I've heard of a lot of post op discomforts, but not this one during my research..... it hurts like hell !! They finally called me in a stronger nausea med because the spasms are making me heave, so I'm gonna trust them and be hopeful. Keep your head up I BELIEVE it WILL get better for all of us [/quote']

I too have talked to my Doctor twice as the sternum pain wont quit. How are you now? I hope your nausea is gone. I was going to return to work Friday but I think not!! Thanks for sharing your experiences!!! Makes me feel like less of a nut

Mine is clear liquids 24 hours after, then full liquids for 2 weeks. (It has been 4 days) On the full liquid diet I can have soggy Cereal, thinned oatmeal, and some baby food. Then 2 weeks of soft food.

I think you should be fine. I took all of mine off last night. Of course I am a RN and the worst patient

Oh girls! Im sorry your day three was worse. I had bad gas pains, that woke me up during the night but, it ok today. I finally went to the bathroom (TMI I know)

I too had surgery Friday, and yesterday wasnt very good for me. However, today is much better! I got some gasX, walked around, and took a shower. How are you feeling?

I also got banded yesterday @ 7:30 and was home at 4. I have awful pain in my chest & shoulders, but its getting better. I am not hungry at all. I have to force any pudding or yogurt. Im good w/ fluids. Good luck to.you
