When did u get banded? Are you comfortable with Dr. Ceppa? I have been so far - but of course I'm not facing another surgery. Think it through - and do what is best for you. You have much to think about!

I think you will find it much simplier than you're expecting. I had a great experience at Reading Hospital - was in and home within 6 hours and that was with an hour delay. I was ready to go home too - not pushed out the door. Keep in touch - I'd love to know how you're doing throughout the journey!

I'm post op by a litle over 6 weeks and I have been having port pain. It feels like something inside is stretching and is giving me some pain - especially if i bend. It also hurts when I'm just standing. I'm wondering if anyone else has felt this? Is it "normal"?

Just for a little encouragement,.. I'm 6 weeks post op. I didnt lose a thing for 3 weeks! I was eating about 1100 calories and going to the gym at least 3 times a week (still am actually). This week I had a pleasant surprise... 4 lbs gone! Keep at it - your body is adjusting now. And stop looking at the scale every day! (ok - Im making an assumption here - becaue that is what i HAD been doing.) Good luck on your journey!

I had mine done at Reading Hospital on 9/17... So far, so good. Dr. Ceppa did my surgery. I've been happy with everything so far!

Line-dancer: HMMMM.. ok, so, if something got stuck - I would know right away, right? I'm thinking it's heartburn cuz I remember that pain quite well (LOL) and it showed up about 1.5 hours after i ate lunch. BUT with that being said, I havent had the "stuck" feeling yet. Maybe it is what is happening??? I do go meet with my dr. next week - so I will be sure to mention this! RayLandry - good luck to you on your second round... I wish you much success!

hey folks! I'm interested in finding out if anyone suffers from heartburn?? I've been on omnaprozole for well over a year and have had no issues with heartburn until recently. I am 4 weeks post op - and have had 2 days of heartburn this week. Sighhh... I didn't miss this aggravating pain!

Mis73 said it all perfectly. I felt the same way and just got banded 8 days ago. I have no regrets yet.. Just enthusiasm for the future. But know that whatever you decide it is YOUR decision. Only you can decide what is the best option for you. Good luck to you!!!

hey all... I'm new here - just signed up yesterday and I got banded 8 days ago. I wish I had found this site sooner - lots of good info (ok and a lil not so good, ) but am glad to find a site for support. I'm looking forward to doing the journey with you all!
