    ladys and gentlemen ive discovered i can run !!! minf its at one minute intervals of one min running one minute power walk and a 20min sequel but still I CAN RUN
  2. okay so i am one month post op, im still get severe headaches and energy lows and bizar mood swings, and my bowel movements are still out of wack,, HELP this is really starting to annoy me, and its effecting my work, ive lost 10kg since surgury which is awesome,, and im not as hungry any more, but this other stuff is getting me down
  3. well mainly i keep my meals simply as i am up at 5 and don't actually get home till 630-7 most nights,, and as of this week its about to get a lot more hectic when i start my second job,, so Breakfast is usually yoghurt or baked Beans or just a tin of tuna , fruit , boil egg mashed up with tin tuna or tin chicken, on days when i am home i make an omelet lunch is usually tin of tuna with steamed vegies,, or chicken with steamed vegies, Peanut Butter on rice crackers , tin tuna salad tin chicken salad, a shake if im really pressed for time dinner can be steamed vegies or mashed sweet potato and pumpkin with a peace of chicken or fish, so umm yea,, i really havnt got much of a range,, im both money restricted and time restricted unfortuntly
  4. im not eating anything i wasnt before band, just eating the healthier food from what i was eating, lots of eggs and tuns and chicken and vegies n fruit a friend recommended peanut butter for the protein n good fats
  5. im not tooo full,, ive only got 1cc in my band but im trying to stick to 1/2 cup meal which is what my doc told me, atm im having 5 1/2 cup mesls three hours appart, i dont get how we eat so little yet are suppose to take in so many cslories,
  6. i take vitamin c cuz i have high anxiety levels and it helps ive been taking it for a long time, and i take magnesium cuz it helpa my back pain, im on myfitnesspal, and i usually get between 600-1000 calories a day,, i will try upping ny protein but i have no idea how as im already struggling to get my calories as it is :/ i think i mighy go see a nutritionist i clearly need help :/
  7. ive cut back caffeine but i havnt stopped completly cuz some days i just wouldnt function with out it :/ but i have it black n no sugar, tastes like crap it gives me the boost i need
  8. atm im getting about 40g protein a day, i take a multi vitamin morning n night,, berroca, i also take magnesium and vitamin c, i exercise every second day, i mainly eat eggs tuna chicken vegies and peanut butter,, oh n sweet potato and pumpkin once or twice a week,
  9. nah i dont have a team and my surgeon is rather unhelpful, he litterally told me doesnt matter what i eat as long as i onky eat half a cup,, he didnt tell me anything about protein or vitamins and water or anything i had to find it all out myself ,
  10. im drinking rediculous amounts of water ,, im going for at least 1 ltr between meals

    thanks for the advice guys it wasnt at all painful,, hopefully i feel a bit of restriction but i onmy got 1 cc in and ny doc said to go back next week if i dont feel any restriction,, yay,,

    ladys and gentlemen,,, it is 5:19 AM here in aus and i am UP and in my GYM gear and about to HEAD TO THE GYM,, hells yea,, after a week of telling myself i will i finally am i am GOING to loose 2inches by my cadet reunion,,
  15. hey every one,, i recently started a detox drink suggested by jillian michaels,, dandelion root tea cranberry juice and lemon,, i have this as my hot drink first this in the morning,, and i have jus dandelion tea before i go to bed, ive been doing it for four days now and ive lost 1kg already excited cuz i was on a plateau for two weeks before this,, it tastes nice and i find it gives me more energy then coffee
  16. yea this drink is amazing, i have my berroca before i exercise, after exercise i have breaky then half an hour later i have this drink its fabulous amd cheap !!!

    6 Days Post Op

    rightio so im 6 days post op and until now i havnt actually felt any real pain,, but i sneezed this morning and my god did my port side hurt,, i can actually feel it now,, also im just starting to get hungry now,, other then that going really good,, think i might start walking tomorrow,, EXCITED,, anywhooo figured id just give an update as no one else had posted yet

    it should be fine im three weeks out n mine are still swollen and itchy n red,, if your really worried put some disinfect and but i wouldnt bandafe them up again cuz the air will help them dry out, bandaids keep them moist amd thats when infections grow :/

    lol i dont know aye,, but the first week out i lost 5kg and then i started exercising,, rough 45min walk and then 20min elliptical at night,, and then the week after that i lost nothing this week ive lost 2 kg tho,, which is better then nothing i guess, im the same,, im like ive had the surgury now show me results LOL,, little too eager i think,,

    lol.. thats awesome as !!! ive only lost 6.8 kg since surgury but appartly im over doing my exercise,, but other then that everything has been going great ive had no complications either "touch wood" i dont, i get my first fill next wednesday YAY

    my understanding is that our stomach's and our bands are on the left and our ports are slightly to the right of out belly buttons,,i wouldnt stress too much tho, cuz until all the swelling goes down properly things will be pushed to the surface ,, and things that should be hard will be,, i freaked out a week post op cuz the whole right side of my belly was sort hard to touch and i freaked out thinking i had internal bruising or something,, but nope jumped on here and was told that its normal,, its just the swelling and your body adjusting,,

    feel your band or your port ?? since day three poat op ive been able tk feel my port,, but on both sides there are hard spots that i thought may have been my port and freaked me out,, but now 3 weeks post op most of those "port" possible spots havw gone down and i cant feel my real port lol
