I'm only 3 days post op but when I was in the hospital they kept trying to give me the liquid pain killers and after picking up the prescriptions I found out you don't want to take it on an empty stomach. I think that's what made me feel nausea and vomited. You may wants to check your prescriptions.

I'm having a hard time with nausea and keeping things down. I'm hoping things turn around and that ill get out of the hospital tomorrow, You?

I can pee but can't keep anything down and I keep burping not no gas down there.

Just had surgery yesterday somebody please tell me this gets better I can't keep anything down and still feeling nausea. They are keeping me in the hospital tonight.

Good luck today to all my May 28th sleeve buddies. I'm about to head to the hospital for my 5:45am checkin. I'm feeling nervous but I know once I'm feeling better ill be so happy I did this.

Hey I'm trying to find a place I record my body measurements like bust, hips etc. I thought myfitnesspal or the fitbit app would have had something but I can't seem to find the entry area if they do. Can someone guide me in the right direction?

Ha Ha I've noticed that lately it's all food and none of its healthy. Maybe the lesson there is don't eat what if advertise on tv.

There is a handful of us getting sleeved this week. I'm tomorrow may 28th and all I can think about is the operation and recovery and living life afterwards.

This might sound dorky but I think I'm going to write a letter to my future self. I want to write out where I hope I am in a year and how I'm feeling today and then open it on my one year surgaversiery (sp?). OH and I'm planning to take body shots today and measurements. What are all you guys doing today?

Seattle WA my check in is 5:45am. I had a 3 week very low calorie diet but I'm putting myself on liquids tomorrow. I can't believe when I wake up ill be 24 hours away from surgery.

Did you have the Lapland before? My date is may 28th as well and right now all I can think about is what it will be like this week. Good luck! Oh and you are making the right choice because by doing this you are prolonging your life for your daughter.

Same date but not feeling the nerves yet. I think it's because I've had a pretty heavy work load this week trying to get things wrapped up but I'm guessing this weekend I might be a ball of emotions my mom died about 5 years to the date all due to obesity related reasons. I'm ready for this new life chapter!

What's funny is my blood presure was just high enough for insurance for that to be one of my co mobilities and ever since I've been approved its been normal! Maybe my body was helping me out and wants the surgery as well. There will be a lot of exciting and nerve racking times in the pre-op process. Good luck!

I don't think you'll get a good answer on this forum because everyone here I believe for the most part will be pro sleeve. In October when I first met with my surgeon I went in wanting the lapband and leaving thinking the sleeve would be better for me. I think the majority of us have a sweet tooth and lord knows I do but with the sleeve I'm hoping I can fight that battle with time. Do lots of research and see what is right for you. In my mind there a TON of pros for the sleeve that out way the cons and I'm happy with my choice (hopefully ill feel the same once I'm sleeved in a couple weeks)
