I was wondering the same thing. Ya know.. you don't have to wait that long for fills.. Ask them to schedule you sooner. Only needs to be like 3 weeks apart. Well, Mine were and that was more than enough time.. I would really get on that, you shouldn't have to wait so loong. Good Luck hun!!

I have a cousin who went through 7 miscarriages and they found out her uterus couldn't hold, so they sewed her up and she couldn't do much, lite duty. She now has 5 beautiful kids. So about a week ago I started to lose a lot of hair. I use to have soo much hair but over the years it has thinned considerably. Now.. I am losing MORE hair.. I just bought some biotin and I have biatric muti-mitamin and hoping that will work. I need my hair back omgz!

everyone is different! I was soo afraid of the pain because of some of the horror stories I read on here. lol.. I went for surgery at 8:00am I was home by 11am. Gas pains hurt but they are not unbearable and I am sorta wimpy with pain. hehe. Walk walk walk helps a lot to move that gas around and get it out.. get some gas x to help get it out as well. Hdoll is right.. book a recliner for a week!! I slept in it and didnt have problems. Day 2 was the worse of the pain for me, by day 3 it was starting to get better and by day 4 I was like.. wow that was it? lol.. It was WELL WORTH it! good luck!

I was told to wait a month to have alcohol.. I still drink the same minus I don't mix it with soda anymore, I use juice or take shots. I do get tipsy faster. I don't drink often. Maybe once a month if that.. more or less.

I also had one, and didn't know what it was. I am sooo happy it was repaired though. I had bad reflux and never knew that was the cause. No more reflux yay!!!

So sorry hun.. thats horrible to have to go through that, but I know it will all be worth it!! it's a speed bump thats all.. prayers for a safe and speedy recovery!! *hugs*!

Sorry to hear that Donna. I feel your pain, been there and it's just unbelieveable how someone can live 2 lives. I am however glad you have some closure now. Move on, work on you, and you will find that happiness you deserve!! **hugs**!

the hunger will go away in due time. It depends on the person. Some feel it right after surgery, some take a few months. My band started to work for me on my 3rd feel 2 months out. At first it is just like a diet, it's difficult, you're hungry.. but after my 3rd fill omg the difference I felt. I am not to restrictive where I get pb espisodes or stuck which I like. I can eat anything without a problem, but I love is that I can eat a small portion and literally feel satisfied for 4hrs or so. I notice now, when i eat something I often don't even get to finish what i have served myself. Eating slow and smallbites help very much to feel the satisfied feeling. how soon did you start minimi?

I started to fill restriction on my 3rd fill. I have 6cc in my 14band. This is a very great question! As of right now I am satisfied where I am. I can still eat anything with no problem. I chew chew and take smaller bites, ( still working on the bite size ) but now I notice I get to my satisfied stop quicker now. I don't feel anything physically stop me from anything. I just feel satisfied for 4hrs. I start to hiccup or sigh and I stop and I am good. Sometimes I feel slightly full, but not bad at all.

Hiyas all! Ok well, I wanted to see if there was anyone out there who can recommend a good pair of work out shoes. Walking, dancing. I am getting into the swing of things and at home while I exercise, I usually do it barefoot. I've read some say it's ok, while other's say it can cause stress on your ankles etc. ( from other sites ). I want every bit of help that will contribute to my success! Thanks in advance!

Hiya! and congrats on your decision! Let me tell you.. it is the BEST decision I have ever made. I can relate. Self pay will allow you to have th surgery a lot sooner than insurance does. You will most definitely get this done before Dec. It may only take about a month or so but it all depends on the play you go. So here is to taking your life back and on the road to freedom! P.S.
