That took a while for me too it got itchy and it was swollen I thought I had an infection. Hang in there part of the healing. There are times I have a little port pain now over a year in but it's brief and isnt often. Good luck

I have been banded a year. I eat poultry no red meat or pork then veggies pasta normal food because I get sick of the same stuff. I am most successful on a plan with food provided I need the structure because my life is so hectic it keeps me from straying but my doc was against me doing nutrisystem so I stopped and started gaining weight. I'm going to try to work with him, but I have already began researching other doctors in the event I have to move I need a motivator anything less than that will make me not want to hear it. I want the success so I will continue trying for me but I have no problem moving on

I have zero restriction and am hungry. Hungry to the point if I don't eat I get migraines. I'm not losing and I sometimes avoid my doc because he hurts my feelings sometimes. I have tried a weight loss program with my band nutrisystem and I bought an expensive trainer still nothing. I get discouraged after doc visits because I take his comments as he feels I'm not trying but I am. I spoke with the office manager at the docs office and she said it won't work for everyone and it could be a variation of things. Like most folks here I have been trying to loose weight for years I have spent thousands on programs doctors meds etc etc etc. I NEED something to work for me.

Thank you for the info. I have been thinking revision and going the bypass way too. I'm going to chat with my doc and try more fills. I feel the band is not working for me. Good luck to you both

Be strong use the DVR and record your shows then you can fast forward past the visual temptations good luck!!

I have been there! At least you were home. I was in a restaurant eating and talking and laughing and I wasn't paying attention to my chews. I knew when I swallowed I had a problem. Excused myself went to a public restroom praying please no tears and all it came out fast thankfully I returned scared to eat and taking tiny bits. Wow o wow! I learned to concentrate when I eat. If I'm going to talk I can't eat fork down

Wow! That is a hard one. My doc would say no, but I say ask your doc because he/she will give a reason if the answer is no. Good Luck

No judgement here I was hungry too . I started eating a very little of healthy choice chicken noodle soup. When I went to the doc I told him so he can help me. They are there to help not judge. Good luck! *HUGS*

Congrats! Keep reading and learning. Keep some paper and jot down questions to take with you to the doc. Make him give you his thoughts / answers. Good luck on your journey!

It takes time to get there. All bodies are different. I too still don't have restriction but I hope it's coming for us. Good luck!

Hello! I'm not in your area but wishing you lots of luck! Start researching the hospital and the doc. You want someone extremely experienced. Look for centers of excellence and board certifications.

I am too but I always feel worse after I eat the stuff! Hang in there and keep your eye on the prize . Glad your daughter is okay!! That's most important!!

I do! year and a half in and not losing weight discouraged and lost. I'm remotivated and headed back to the doc for a fill currently 5cc in a 10cc band. How do you know you have reached the green zone? I know for sure I have not I'm hungry a lot thanks for your wisdom!
