How are you doing with your first week? We were banded the same day.

I was also banded on the 3rd and I get the same pain....how's everything else going otherwise...what are you eating? Or drinking? Lol I'm so boreddddd..!!!

My nutritionist recommended I get Isopure...I was thinking of going to GNC today to pick it up...I didn't know if you don't like it you can actually return it? That's pretty cool...what are you guys mixing your protein powder with??

I'm also going crazy with my chicken broth!!! I waned to do the same with ramen noodles but the sodium as they said is way too high so right now I am drinking Swanson 50% less sodium and I'm so tired of it...it's starting to smell nasty and just gross to me...are there any other options out there for me? btw I was banded 10/3

Hi everyone I am 3 days post op and I'm doing fine but I keep developing bad taste in my mouth...is it okay for me to suck on a sugar free piece of candy to get rid of the taste in my mouth?

Tomorrow is my big day!!!!! I will be getting banded at 7:30AM... I'm so excited!!!! Today I am doing some cleaning around the house so I can relax during the first week of my new life!!!! I will be sure to keep everyone up to date!!!!

Hello everyone! I am 23 and I will be banded on October 3rd, I'm really nervous but I know this will benefit me in the future. However I need some help......can someone who's been banded please give me like a rundown of how week 1 operates what you ate (or drank rather)...I'm starting to get confused and I just really would appreciate some feedback!!! Hello everyone!!! I have exactly a week left until my surgery I have all types of emotions going through my mind right now...ahh Oct. 3rd is almost here!!!! I have a question....do you think it's necessary to stay over night in the hospital? I originally opted out of staying overnight but after talking to my sister last night she has me going crazy as if I made the wrong decision....what do you guys think? Is the hospital stay necessary??

it's only a week away for us..let's be sure to keep each other posted on everything since we have the same date. I'm doing well on my pre-op diet as well...I haven't really had the time to do actual workouts..all i've done is speed walk for 45 mins each night...what are you doing for workouts?

Just received my phone call from the Laparoscopic office....I've been approved by my insurance company, all my test are in and I'm medically cleared....the date and time are set...October 3rd 7 A.M woohoooo!!!

Thanks for all of the replies...I think I'm going to go with the original plan and come home same day...I don't like hospitals so I know I will not be comfortable staying overnight. I want to be as comfortable as possible post-op. I bought a nice comfy back pillow so that I will be able to sit up in bed comfortably and I plan to just walk around at home every hour or so...I am worried about the gas pains, but I know that everyones body reacts differently, so I will just wait it out and see how my body reacts to everything...ahh I'm so nervous..!!!

Hello everyone! I'm getting banded on October 3rd and I'm going out today to shop for my first two weeks! My nutritionist recommended I buy isopure for protein...has anyone bought this ? I just want some feedback before i go out and buy it as it is quite pricey!!!

What are you doing now for your two week diet?? I'm filled with so many emotions...nervous, excited, anxious ahh!!
