My husband and I are both getting banded on 10/24 so one day before you but I would still love to become friends and follow each other's ups and downs.

I want to know some tips if any one Journels their LBS Journey. Do you have a notebook or did you find a special kind of Journel for Weight Loss or LBS? Other than foods you eat in a day, what else do you journel about that helps you? Do you list your food by what your eat or it's nutrients too?

Hi, I too at the start of my journey and the more I read the more scared I become. I would love to become friends and follow each other for support! I live in Mississippi and I'm scheduled for surgery 10/24. Do you have a date yet? I would say read all you can and be informed but take the negatives with precaution. You DO have to have your mind set for it and set for a new way of life!

I am the other have of HUBMACFAN. We hope to be banded Oct 24. I am trying now to cut back and prepare for the liquid diet time. Haven't had a soda since Tuesday....that is the hardest! What are the best Protein shakes? Anyone used BODY BY VI as Protein Shakes? Would live any advice for pre-op diet recipes or tips!

I am not banded yet but I live in Mississippi, so it's very Hot and Humid and I'm sure it was change in climate. We use to have a ranch in Darby, MT and while the summers got hot...there was NO humidity compared to what I normally lived in and I LOVED IT! I would think it would be similar to me coming there and having altitude sickness. It always took me a day or two to settle in once we got there. I think it's just what our bodies are use to. So sorry you it sick for the first of your trip.
