I know it could happen after surgery. The tightness I feel is the same I felt when I had it before. I left doc said could be a reaction to meds from surgery. They gonna put me on a steroid.

Which Protein shake mix have you tried? Which is best? Add Water? Add milk? Choc? vanilla? Brand? I've only tried the bottled Isopure. It's nasty but do able. I tried it in powder form and I couldn't take the smell. Im thinking about trying the Bariatric Advantage but wanted to hear opinons first before spending 50 bucks on it if not more.

I bought a huge decor mirror about 7 feet tall that u lean against the wall. I had it still in the box because I was waiting until I got bedroom furniture. I put it in my bedroom before surgery and love being able to see my whole body. I'm 6'1 so I'm not able to in bathroom mirrors and regular wall mirrors. I live alone so I'm naked mostly. But I just noticed my rolls don't have the same folds on the left side as the right side of my body. I know I've been looking more in detail since the number on the scale has been going down. Just a little fat girl humor. Lol

I've only been myself. I never asked about a straw. I used a straw didn't have a problem. My did never told me I couldn't. Reading what others responses some doc say yes some say no. Every body is different. Doc said I wouldn't be able to hold a gallon jug I would be to sore. I don't have a problem. I'm not going to have the same experiences as u. Or the next person. When they write and prescription they write it to the persons height and weight and health. We could be on the same meds but take different amounts.

I have a borderline problem with my thyroid. i saw borderline because my doc checks it every year because its big but nothing comes up. its slow but not slow enough to take meds. i think that may be why when i swallow more air gets in. before the surgery each sip of drink i took i had to burp. i stop using the straw and ive burped a whole lot more which im grateful. the gas is the only issue i have since the surgery a week ago.

Looks like u have followed every thing too. Lol I had a straw in hospital too. Weird but I get less gas from straw then drinking from cup. I always have to burp after I drink from cup.

really wow, the nurses at the hospital were really nice to me. nurses who had came in to congratulate me. what i meant by not ready for the world to know because i saw you could link facebook to it. even if the world knew it wouldnt bother me. if i over eat i get fat not them. if they over eat they get fat not me. my health my choice.
