Why are u so hostile?

You have to truly listen to your body. Everyone is different. Some on 4 weeks liquids some on 1. I would think it has to do with age and how healthy the body is like if person smoked or drinks kinda determines how fast body bounces back. I went back to work today. Lift 30lb box after 8th day of post op. I was exhausted though from my short work day. So I know I'm not 100%. Hang in there. Flip through a magazine pick out something u want to buy. Don't give up!!

Yes, I have an infection. On antibiotics now. It's liquid and pink. Reminds me of the med when I was a kid. Lol. I'll be fine. I knew something was wrong and didn't want it to really jump on me. I start a new job in 2 weeks so don't want to be ill.

Has anyone had any skin irritation after the surgery? I'm feeling really itchy from my chest to stomach. I've never had this before has anyone else?

My surgeon is vacation. Who knows when are schedule are going to match when I can make follow up appointment and fill. My rash is basically where ever my skin and touch its self. Between the rolls. Lol. It almost looks like a sun tan the way it is on my breasts. I think its weird that whatever reaction I had is only in the surgery area.

Hmm I was right. Just leaving my primary doctor. He said its the beginning of cold and gave me meds so it wouldn't turn into pneumonia. Also got some cream for this rash. The doctor I saw yesterday at the surgeon's didn't even listen to me breathe in and out. They didn't even make me pay. I really doubt he was a doctor. Lol he had no problem lifting up my dress to check my rash though lol. Tip for the day listen to your body. You know your body.

Lol I'm 6'1 so 345 looked different on me. Crazy thing is, I have no idea how I will look skinner. I've been overweight my whole life. I can only looked at kid pics and see when I was in the teen sizes. I'm excited to meet that lady that has been covered with this blubber. I've already started a bucket list so to say. I'm afraid of heights. I have 12 feet ceiling and had a hard time standing on a three step step stool to change the light bulbs. When I slim down I want to go sky diving. I will be attached to someone of course. Being skinner I feel safer to be under one parachute. I also want to go key skiing. I was afraid to try it on my own. But wondered if me and someone else on it would it stay up. Lol. Ohh the thoughts that run through a fat girl's mind.

Congrats. I won't be excited until after I get the fill and on regular food. Then I feel like I'm doing something to lose the weight. I step on out of curiosity. Maybe even twice a day... Lol

Am I the only person that is stepping on the scale every day since surgery? I know each scale is different. Week before surgery I weighed in at 323 at the surgeons office stepped on today I'm at 305.

i dont wear jeans at all only leggings. when i think of the future im like hmmm will i wear jeans? looking forward to be able to go in every store and not just plus size. the day is coming all smiles along the way.

I gave up sodas some years ago when I had a scare with diabetes. I stopped drinking sugar drinks and never had a problem. I was hooked on diet sodas. knowing that i couldnt drink after surgery i gave them up 3 months ago. when i go out to dinner with my family seeing them drink coke makes me shake my head but i dont say anything. they can pick on me all they want about eating little. im losing weight and they are gaining. i could pick on them but i wouldnt do that. i feel sad about my cousins because they are where i was at a young age overweight and i know because their mother isnt enforcing a change they will not change. soon they will be out of highschool and the weight will grow and they will be overweight adults. they are living the same story i had. my choice for wls was for me and for my unborn kids. i dont want them to be overweight.

I'm not ashamed of my decision for lapband but not sure if I'm ready for the world to know..... I go back to my warehouse job in 3 weeks. Since I've been home I've lost about 3 or 4 lbs. Nothing noticeable. But hmm will it be in 3 weeks? Lol. It was really important that I lost weight before the surgery. Which I lost 30 lbs. I didn't want to start dropping all of a sudden. But oh well. Nothing really I'm worried about just a thought. It's feels so good to be awaken from the spell....of McDonald's...Taco Bell... And other fast food cravings. I was a diet soda junkie. I've been clean for 3 months. I quit early because there wasnt a point in stringing it along when I couldn't have soda after band. I'm so excited for this new life. I have been re-birth. Eating baby food to prove it. Lol.

Hmm I never heard about that. Why wouldn't u want a fill?

Congrats on your lost. Have u had a fill yet? Until I have first fill and on full diet thats when I will feel like I'm losing weight. That I'm in control of it. Like now me losing weight is because I'm taking in few cals because of being on liquid diet.

congrats on your band. may sound weird but i would weight before using the bathroom and afterwards just out of curiosity

I'm not "trying to lose" just sipping. the liquid diet is obviously what is doing it. im losing 2-3 pounds a day. Isnt that too much?

yea. i took some last night. gonna take some more. feeling light headed.
