I'm waiting at the doctors office to be called back. Hmm oh I wonder.... But will soon find out. My port area has been really sore in the last two weeks as when I first had surgery. [ATTACH]24898[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]24899[/ATTACH] Same dress. 40lb difference. Lost most on my weight so far pre-op.

I didn't get the fill. I told doctor about me still being in pain as when I first had the surgery. Gonna get xray done first to see why.

I had my surgery on Monday. So happy the day finally came and gone. I've been on liquids and just tried tuna fish salad today went down ok. And had a little egg salad. I drink normal. I try to sip at least I was with the broth. But after do a little work out reaching for water old habits I drink it down. I'm confused with how I should feel. Because I don't feel anything. I don't feel hungry. I eat or sip to stay hydrated. Ive trained myself not to eat when I'm not hungry so its hard to eat now because I don't feel hungry at all. Not even thirsty. I'm so afraid to throw up so I'm really paying attention to how my body reacts. If it weren't for the scars and soreness I wouldn't think that the band is on.

Little highlight. Went to the movies and I didn't have to lift the arm up. Aww that felt good.

I was using myfitnesspal pre-op. It's a great app. I think most people say I only ate this.... But once u add up all the cals you can see why you're gaining. During pre-op diet I still ate fast food but made lower calorie choices. I lost 30 pounds just doing that. I was a big diet soda addict. I loved coke zero. That black can is so sexy. Lol. Knowing that I would be able to drink sodas afterward I quit early. I started drinking the soda water drinks. It's what I call them. It's has a little fizz to them but not much. I have drunk some since surgery and haven't had a prob.

Lol yep. A good response would be don't worry u won't gain a pound if I eat this.

I don't have children yet but a big reason for getting the band was knowing if I'm eating the proper way my kids won't have a choice not to. I want to take a flight and not have to need an extended belt. I want to ride on a roller coaster. I've been overweight my whole life I don't really know what I missed. I want to ride a ski. I want to sky dive. I want to get older and not have any health issues. I want to buy a bra from Victoria Secret instead of Lane Bryant. I would love to be able to buy one from Walmart. Lol.

Why do both?

I took strips off when I came home after spending one day in hospital. Banded on 9/17 the smallest ones are nearly healed. The one where port is at still has glue. Was told not to scrub. You'll wake up and magically they will be gone. No worries.

I was banded 9/17. I work two jobs and went back to second job because it lighter work. I was ok the first day but very sore each day. It would be hard just to sit on car and drive. The port is sewn onto the muscle so its gonna be really tender since you are working.

My advice is to take depressed out your vocabulary. It's unfortunate you have someone going against in you're on home, but you know what your supposed to do. Stay on track. Instead of saying you're depressed. Say you're so motivated because your husband is nagging. Think positive. You can do it. It's nothing wrong with sugar free popsicles.
