I too have a body that just does not want to give up even a pound, with me having entered menopause. I have to go thru the 6 month diet before I can be operated on.I imagine that I will see the Nutritionist a few times if not more. The way I see it, is if we are doin everything we can, and the Nutritionist sees that, its just one more person in my personal arsenal of medical folks saying its medically necessary that I be banded, for quality of life. In other words I have put them in the "asset" corner of my mind. Its not a good thing to categorize in YOUR corner of the mind them being a "threat" beforehand, as it may become a self fulfilling prophecy. Im not saying it WILL HAPPEN, Im just saying that it DOES HAPPEN. Good luck! Sandy

whilst you ponder that, take a gander at this little scenario. My ex Husband was an excellent lover, best Ive ever had. Oral, doggie you name it we did it and it was good, awesome! WE were married less than a year. We went to bed one night, and in the middle of the night I woke up, no Jeff. His side of the bed empty. No cells back then. I look outside, and the car is there. I get to thinking, and worried. Looked hi and low. We lived in a second floor adorable apart with very old carvings, oak just gorgeous! Anyhoo, theres this bar we frequented to play pool, about 6 houses down the street. I can see it from our place. I get dressed, and locked up, walk down the street . I find him in there , middle of the night sitting at the bar, suckin face WITH A GUY!!!! We divorced soon after, nuff said. Creep. Guys if ya think you might be unsure dont MARRY A STRAIGHT WOMAN and let her find out this way. It messes with the head. Sandy

Krusell, I believe you havent been married very long:) Thats great, dont get me wrong. Ive heard of marraiges where there is no sex at all, for years at a time. What do yall think of that? Something , physical or mental w/ the woman. Dont remember exactly how it ended up that way, bu they did, and evidently love each other. Been together like 20 years or something like that. didja ever hear the term"when it rains it pours?", Its the bodies way of just gettin this sht outta the way. I swear by chicken boullion cubes dissolved in hot hot Water.and motrin,(or in this case one of yer pain pills, cause ya cant take motrin or advil, whatever is allowed for crampy achey) for just about everything. Heating pad, most worn out clean nightie, blanket and good book, remote in hans, and some cold cold water standin by, then luxuriate in the comfort and feel better please. I was wondering if any of the banded(as I've not done anything yet, Ive got a 6 month diet first:( have every tried squats to help with the gas, or would that be too hard and painful on the abdominal area?
