    Lap Band Vs. Sleeve

The week Before my surgury i started thinking about the sleeve too. As far as i understand it all depends on what you like and how much do u want to loose. The risks with the sleeve is much higher than the band but u will also loose weight faster with the sleeve. My dr told me that if he was to perform surgury on a family member he would do the band first. If anything was to happend they can take it out but the sleeve is non reversible

    Is This Normal?

I got banded on tuesday and i feel the same way. All i feel is a discomfort on my tummy but im not sure what it is. I do have a diet to follow but betweend the vitamins, calcium, gas , pain medicine and all the pills i have to take im afraid to eat cuz im terrify of getting something stuck in there or vomiting. I have an appointment on tue ill let u know how it goes.
  3. I am wishing both of you the best in your surgury, for what i have read the weigh loss with the band can help u with fertility. I was very worry about getting it and i finally did it on 9/18 so far i am doing ok. Im glad i found this forum to ask and share some advice. Im sure u will do great. Good luck to both of you.
  4. Thanks for the support everyone. It feels great to be able to talk about it with other ppl that are going thru the same thing. Ive been moving little by little and im trying to take gas x more frequent but after reading your comments i am feeling way better. Thanks everyone
