Congrats!!! I am a day behind you Nov 6th. I kind of can't believe it is happening, but I am so excited. I had my first appt with the surgeon on Sept 19, approved by bcbs a week ago, and now am scheduled for surgery!

Yay for date twins! I start my Pre op shakes on Tuesday....kind of. I am not allowed to eat most of the day, because I have my ultrasound at 4. My last official meal before surgery will be Monday. lol The anxiety hasn't quite hit me yet, but believe me I will feel it soon enough. Congrats to you too!!! Our new life is about to begin!! -

The only thing i needed was psych approval and a letter from my dr stating i was informed about procedure and will get aftercare. They approved in a week. I have bcbs

Yay!!!! I am so excited! My next appt is next thurs to get pulmonary clearance, and then abdominal ultrasound 10/23. So excited and ready to begin

I went to the information session the last Saturday in August, so it hasn't taken long at all for me. I took all the first avail appts no matter what time, and that has made it go super fast. I was hoping to get it done this year, and now it is looking like early November. So exciting!

Of course protein shakes and other things with protein like greek yogurt, cream of wheat and such. I will even add protein powder to those things. I certainly wasn't saying the baby food would be my main food of choice during the mushy stage, hardly. -

Im a freak i guess, because the baby food with fruit sounds way more appetizing than blended meat. There are some my nutritionist rec that have protein. Lol -

No date yet, but it should be in november. My psych is tomorrow, and then they send it to bcbc for approval. Im keeping my fingers crossed for knowing next week ! -
Now i just have my psych thurs before they send off for approval!!! I could know something the next week. I have heard that bcbs of il is pretty fast. If that is true i really could be looking at november!!! I am so anxious and excited that i can hardly sleep. I stay up all night watching youtube videos. It seems i am obsessed at this point lol
