No worries your body will tell you. I had cod in week two was yummy. I wanted shrimp really bad and had that too. Just remember to chew chew chew and take little bites. I was taking pills two days after surgery I think it depends on your md and if you have the silastic ring with your bypass . HW 250/1st Lapband 198/2nd Lapband 232/Pre conversion 2/6/13 to bypass 232.....Current 211 -

I'm so glad to talk to someone that had been through this muscle stitch thing and hear how long it took you. I want to get back to work and stop being a whiner..the only thing that helps my pain us Motrin they allowed me to take it for 48 hours only and they are giving me some muscle relaxers. That liquid Lortab aka vicodin doesn't touch the pain. So here's hoping I'm coming to the end of this it will be one month march 6 I'm suppose to go back to work on the 5 th half days first. Thanks again for the insight... -

I had a conversion band to bypass 2/6/13 same deep pain left side do to that stitch from hell....I am three weeks out and the pain from that damn stitch is keeping me from work and walking...did they tell you that you would have that stitch ? Most people on the forum don't seem to be having an issue with this stitch or I have a really low pain tolerance !?! I have to hold myself to walk the pain so bad....I hardly used any of my pain meds in hospital but I want someone to hit me with a two by four.......I'm getting asseritis from sitting and lying so much.....OMG HW 250/1st Lapband 198/2nd Lapband 232/Pre conversion 2/6/13 to bypass 232.....Current 211 -

Remember everyone our bodies just came through major surgery. Swelling inside and out, pain inside and out. Fluids that were given and body trying to adjust to its new plumbing...try not to obsess about the scale and how fast or slow it comes off we are all different body types with and without complications major and minor. YOU WILL LOSE....YOU WILL SUCCEED...STAY POSITIVE..... -

fyi some people have a silastic ring with there bypass and that causes stuck issues from time to time. -

I had lasik in 2000. When I was 40. I did mono vision because I know my eyes would change I started wearing reading glasses 3 years ago for close up. I'm looking far away. Yes I noticed a slight difference after surgery maybe its all the meds we were on?! Lol -
Didnt they give you protonix or prilosec? I have to take out for three months once a day post op.
