Baby Ruth, I haven't lost as much as you, but yes, I too am having the same issue. I think noosagirl is right in that different parts of the body will lose differently and in the end it will all catch up. Worse case scenario, there's always PS.

So, as long as I can drink clear liquids in the first couple of days after a fill, I shouldn't be overly concerned? I got a fill on Tuesday and since yesterday afternoon have only been able to drink coffee, tea, water and protein shakes. No PBing or frothing at the mouth.

My 15 year old son is a big believer in Nostradamus and so believes Obama is the anti-christ mentioned in his quatrains. My 8 year old daughter thinks Obama looks and sounds better than McCain so she is for Obama. I think my 2 children represent a large portion of the electorate. LOL

I may have spoke too soon yesterday. I was way too tight last night to eat so all I could do was have some soup (like a few swallows). Only hot liquids are giong down easily today. I can get cold liquids down, but it's taking its time (as in I can feel it dripping slowly). I'm going to stick to liquids for now and see how I do over the weekend. If I can still only do liquids then I'm going back to the doc's on Tuesday to get .25 cc out.

I'm totally impressed.

PJTP because I'm afraid to lay down. I had a VERY stressful drive home today. 4 hours to get home when it normally takes 45 minutes because it rained and as per usual, when it rains in Houston, it floods. I was stuck at a freakin library parking lot for 2 1/2 hours because the roads turned into rivers. Anyway, that stressed me out plus I got .5 cc additional fill yesterday so tonight I'm so tight I can hardly eat and I'm hungry. The couple of bites of food I managed is just sitting there. I don't want to go lay down while I feel the food there because I don't want to risk PBing. I've not PB'd yet and after a day like today, I don't want to add to the hellishness of it all.

Thanks, Charlene. I had one hell of a drive home today. I left the office at 5:00 (work in the Galleria area) and I didn't get home until 9:00. I live in Fall Creek (a new subdivision located a Beltway 8 and 59 North). All the exit ramps were flooded, I had to wait it out in parking lots. I was very stressed out which may be why my band feels so retricted. I was soooooo hungry when I got home but I couldn't eat anything comfortably, not even mush. Even liquid is pausing before going down. I had a .5 cc fill yesterday so maybe it's finally kicking in or maybe it's the fill AND the stress. Anyway, I wanted more restriction and I have it but I want to be able to eat, too. Well, maybe I'll lose another couple of pounds this week.

I'm so sorry it didn't work out for you. Are you absolutely sure you're ready to quit? Maybe one more call or interview of a doctor will help you find the right doctor/fill center.

Oh Manatee, I'm so sorry you are in so much pain. I'm also sorry you are experiencing buyer's remorse but I know it will go away as your healing progresses. I plan on getting PS when I reach goal so I've been following many PS threads and they all say it took several weeks for the swelling to go down noticeably and several months for the healing to be complete. Most of them were extremely happy with the results 6 months out.

I've heard many people say they'd rather build a new house than remodel because it's so hellish to live in a construction zone.
