  1. Maybe a fill would help. If yu can eat anything I think it might be time. I wasn't losing much until I got into my green zone. I think I'm there now cuz my hunger is gone. Good luck!
  2. So I was banded in sept and the weight loss has been slow too. i have had the slimy spit ups too. its when something is stuck. Carrots are totally out for me. they are just impossible. Also very disappointing is that strawberries get stuck too. the nurse suggested that it's the seeds that don't go down well. but I think I'm in the green zone now, so I don't have much hunger and that is helping me to make better food choices. I do find that it's been a slow process to change my way of eating and also adjust my attitude. I am starting to address my comfort eating, and I have lost 7 lbs since the new year. Slow but steady I guess. The feeling you are getting in your back sounds like its just food getting stuck on the way down. I burp a lot too if I eat too fast. We're doing a lot of learning by trial and error eh?! Take care and good luck!

Just uploaded a new profile pic. It makes me laugh but is it offensive? Not sure, what do you think? I'll change it if it's a problem...

Need lapbuddy! Just had surgery 7 days ago!

Hi there! I was banded by Dr C also back in Sept. up until a few weeks ago, I was struggling with the process as I didn't feel that it was helping much. I had my third fill just under 2 weeks ago and I think I'm finally in the green zone. Hunger is under control and I'm feeling excited about it. I may have found the green zone! How are you doing with your fills? Have you felt it's effectiveness yet? NI

Hi there! I got banded back in Sept and I'm looking for and encouraging buddy. Not sure if you want to team up, but I'd be happy to connect with you about my process and hear about yours! NI.

I have to agree with the SWLC feedback. Excellent client care and supportive. It's been great so far. Now I have to focus on my food intake ski do my part!

That doesn't sound right to me. If you are taking small bites and chewing the heck out of them, then it shouldn't be getting stuck. When I get things stuck its because I wasn't paying attention to my bites or I was trying to rush something down. I suspect your band is too tight. You might want to see the doctor about takings bit out. Water should go down easily. Any ways, those are my thoughts. The vomiting thing should be avoided and is a red flag that things aren't quite right. Good luck with it.
