I had my surgery on January 28th, 2012. Just last week, 9/18 I was in surgery. Last Saturday I went to the hospital for excruciating pain and was told I was constipated. The pain only worsen and by Monday I was throwing up black fluids. When I had the official lap band X-ray on Tuesday Morning they went in later that afternoon and redid the procedure. It is a terrible feeling. I would never wish the pain on anyone from a band slip. I am extremely nervous the stress from my job is going to cause this to happen again. I was doing so well since August when I had fluid taken out. I was not throwing up and I felt decent. I am due back to work on October 1st. I took a few extra days off than a week because my body is not handling the liquid diet well. I am very weak. I am debating on even returning to work. I can not make up my mind right now. So many things are going through my mind! I hope you are feeling better! Feels good to vent to others with the same issues and lap band!
