Isn't that a fabulous feeling?!?!?!?!?!? My problem is not stopping...it's wanting to order WAY more than I can eat and getting aggravated at my husband for telling me "You don't need to order all that!" I'm a year out and I still let my cravings get the best of me. Haha! -
Hair falling out in clumps

Your body will only absorb between 20-30g of protein at a time, so don't waste your time on protein that promises 40 and 50 grams. I buy a shake from costco (Premium Protein) that has 30 grams and is $24 for 18 shakes. There's lots of good ones out there, but I find I like these best. There's my 2 cents! -
I'm exactly the same way. I lost 42 lbs and have been stuck for MONTHS! At first, I was so happy to have lost what I did. I went from and 18/20 to an 11/12, but in my head I know my ideal weight would be a maximum of 140 at 5'3. When I look in the mirror I think I've come so far, but still have such a long way to go. My husband is wonderfully supportive, and keeps reminding me "BUT LOOK HOW FAR YOU'VE COME!" Guess we all need to focus on the positive!

I was so happy for my daughter, but hating that I had to have so many pictures taken that day. -
Hair falling out in clumps

I went through the same thing. Everyone always told me I had enough hair for several people. Long story short, I was glad of that fact... I was able to keep enough for one person! I am 1 year out, and now I look like a porcupine! I have little hairs sticking up all over my head because it's all growing back! Mine def was all about protein. Even now if I don't watch my protein intake, I notice I'm losing more than usual. That's my signal ( I tend to get off track easily! ). I use an app on my phone to track caloric intake, vitamins, and most importantly PROTEIN. I tried biotin because of all the things I read, but my doc told me that biotin only works if your biotin deficient and that most of the time that's not the problem. So like Junior Guru said try to get 75 to 100+ grams a day. -
It's all about hunger. Although you want to make healthy choices you got banded for a reason. My doc says that most people with a 10cc band reach where they want to between 7-8cc. I'm at 7.9cc now and feel like I could use a fill. As time passes, you'll get the feel for how it all works with your body. The goal is to remain satiated for longer periods of time. (and not snack out of bordom! I'm so guilty!). Even at a place of good restriction you can eat the wrong foods a little at the time and take in A LOT of calories! I just passed 1 year and have lost 42 of the 82 I need to lose. It was SO EASY at first....now I find I'm having to make an effort.

Ok, so I had my surgery on March 27th. In the first 2 months I dropped like crazy...now I'm only losing like 2-3 lbs a MONTH! ugh! I'm watching my calories. I have a Myfitnesspal app on my phone that I use religiously. I'm taking in between 1000 and 1200 cal a day. IDK what to do. It's frustrating! My nutritionist suggested that maybe taking in MORE calories would help....that possibly my body was seeing what was happening as starvation. I tried this. Nothing. Last month when I went to the Doc I was 187....this month 184. UGH!! Any suggestions???
