Thanks everyone for all the help, I was actually throwing up so I went to my doctor yesterday and he had to remove a little of my fill, now I am much better and can eat the foods I am suppose to be eating...I try to take this one day at a time and I learn something new it seems like almost daily,..I am six months in and have lost 39 lbs so I am one happy camper Loving my band and what it has helped me to do!!!

I had a feel last monday, I now have 5cc in my 10cc band, I can eat gravy or liquids slowly, other then that everything else makes me throw up....does this mean I am too tight? I am still learning and any help would be great!

I can eat some chips, but some make me throw up....the thicker the chip the more likely I am gonna throw up...soups I can eat, anything with any consistency I get sick...

I had my surgery Sept 21st, I had my first fill 3cc on Oct 26th, I was told for my first fill that it was a good one because most fills are not that much...if thats the case then why am I still not feeling full when I eat?? I feel like it takes me to much food to get full, I can't eat as much as I use to but considering I have been banded and my first fill I think I should be full with a whole lot less food...does it take more then 1 fill to get to where I shouldn't be able to eat as much, and also I guess I am one of the lucky ones because I don't have any trouble eating anything at all, I have heard so much about not being able to eat bread but nothen has bothered me at all...I am feeling like a failure at the band

Thanks for the reply...I will start measuring my food and see how it goes, if I can do the pre-op and post op diets then I got this...lol

I also had my first fill today...3cc and have lost 15lbs since banded on 9/21/12 congrats to you on a great job!!!!!

I am 10 days post op and still have 4 more to go until I get to the next stage...im so sick of ALL the soups that I have found myself just not eating rather thsn eat another bite of soup...geezz im ready for some real food so I feel your pain as well:(

I went to the doc today for post op visit and since my 7 days pre op up till today my 6 days post op I have lost 14lbs....woooohoooo

I am on day 4 post op and I am doing the protein shots, another thing you can try with it which is what I am doing is add a packet of splenda to it, its really good....about the only protein I have been able to stomache at all.....the grape are my fav but I have the fruit punch flavor now.....hope this helps and good luck to everyone

It is ranging from 99.1 to 99.9 anyone else have this happen? Any suggestions?

Thanks so much, will take some now....I have been up and moving and drinking lots, not really eating anything, no appetite at all yet...i will keep up the liquids and monitor the temp...ty

I have a question for anyone....I had my surgery yesterday and I'm having sharp pains in my stomache....not sure if its gas pains or hunger pains....I know this sounds stupid but any help would be great!!

Thanks a bunch for the help....I think it may be gas....i used gas x strips so hopefully it will help.....so excited to be on my way to a new and healthier me!!!

I am on day 4 of my pre-op and let me just say im starving!! I can't even stand to think about the protein shakes, I got the ones that my Dr suggested which are called VI-Shape and it is so nasty..anyone have any suggestions on a some what better protein shake? My surgery in on Friday 21st and im barely hanging on!!
