I think you are right about the mental addiction to foods. And how we all feel the same at one time or another. Thats why this site has been so helpful to me. I got banded yesterday. Pretty sore bc i also had 2 hernia repairs. But overall its not as bad as i anticipated -

I went in February for seminar then tried on my own until end of August. Then spent September doing pre op stuff and banded This Morning! -

Sipping my 3 tiny little medicine cups of water per hour. Tried crystal light lemonade that i normally LOVE. But water feels and tastes better.

Im so nervous about how i will feel waking up. I know everyones experiece is diff. Im just getting so nervous i feel so stressed out. Think Ill get in my hot tub and try to relax. Tomorrow at 8:30 i go in. -
On the way to hospital. Will move over to Post Op threads today. Yikes!!!! 8:30 arrival. Good luck to anyone else who goes jn today too. Or tomorrow. Or the next day. Or next week or. Im rambling. Im nervous can you tell. Lol!

I can totally relatd. I ve had numerous major surgeries too i am seeing a counselor. Really helps me. Prayer helps too???Š
