Ive been feeling really weak today. Ive been on water tea or crystal light since wed. Tomorrow start protein shakes. Question. Why wouldnt the dr want me to have even chicken broth?

I called today not wanting to wait until monday with my concern. They called me back in less than 5 min and said dont hesitate to call again today or tomorrow if i needed them. And thankful for the help on this site. Today is day 3 so maybe thats why but still very glad

So day 3 post op and now diarrhea. Only allowed water tea or crystal light until monday. Then protein shakes. I cant leave the house I havent seen any posts re this. And my paperwork says nothing. Trying to stay positive. Im a worrier. Please tell me someone else had this too.

I dont know for sure. I know that sounds absurd but i have 7 bandages bc of hernia repairs but guessing to the left of belly button. An extra bandaid there. Will find out Monday at post op. umm you think i would have asked! Lol

When my so had his band 3 yrs ago they gave him a card with serial numbers ect for future needs or issues. I didnt get one when i got mine yesterday. Anyone know anything about this?

Water tea crystal light. Thats it. And 3 oz per hr 1 oz every 20 min. Then next week. Protein shakes only for 2 more weeks. I hope i can do this! No i will but man. -

Congratulations!! And we are in this together. I was banded yesterday too. Had 2 hernias repaired at the same time. My poor husband is sick of hearing me complain. This too shall pass and we'll be on our way!!

Im less than 24 hrs post op. no one suggested gas x strips at hosp or dr. But have read a few posts here about them.my gas is very uncomfortable

Sounds crazy but im not sure and no one told me. Had hiatal hernua and umbilical hernuas fixed too. 7 bandages. I assuming left bc an extra bandage there but not sure. Guess i should have asked. Im sore all over my belly! Its all good though! Lol -

Apart from the 2 hernias being pretty sore i think things went pretty well. Pretty tired. Bit not bad. And i already had a fill in surgery. Ill know more about that at post op appt monday. Gotta go walk around my house. And sip sip sip -
