[font=trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif]My story is no different from anyone elses. I was beyond TIRED of losing weight and being successful by losing 40 lbs, just to turn around and gain 60lbs over and over again. [/font]
[font=trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif]I am 39 yrs old with a young child. Yeah, I waited late, but as they say, good things comes to those who wait! ;) One reason I waited was not by choice, but due to the fact I had lost weight and was able to conceive. I have PCOS and was told for many years I could not have kids! Well, 8 yrs later I found that was NOT true for me! LOL [/font]
[font=trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif]Overall I was tired of being a yo yo by losing weight and gaining it back. The longest time I had from losing to gaining was 5 yrs. But as many of you know, being overweight is a huge obstacle. People who don't know think is lack of exercise, laziness, overeating etc. Mines was due to the PCOS and lack of activity in my life. [/font]

[font=trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif]I tried WW earlier this year and lost 25 and gained 35 and felt enough was enough! My friend encouraged me to look into the lap band after she has had success with the weight loss and has been happy with the results for 3 yrs. [/font]

[font=trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif]I was banded 12/21. Having mixed feelings because I want to be successful and have long term success. Tired of being smaller for the moment. I want to totally change my lifestyle with the band. Yeah, I could have done it without the band, but my sedentary lifestyle and age is making it so hard to do it without the help of the band. [/font]

[font=trebuchet ms,helvetica,sans-serif]I want to be active again for myself and my child. Any encouragements and help are welcomed! [/font]
