I'm so happy that things went well... Now I hope you didn't drive yourself this afternoon to walgreens?!?!?! Take it easy! Did you end up getting your fill???
-
I'm down to 222lbs(-1 pound for this past week) this morning, I finally hit 10 pound loss for the challenge!!

Another nurse here.... I think 3 weeks will be plenty of time off. I work in a busy ER, and also push, pull, lift you name it.. I went back at 13 days and was a little slow at bending lifting but certainly was able... Had great understanding coworkers who stuck me in triage until I was feeling back to myself.. Hope that helps...

I was just thinking about bumping this thread to check in! I am down 39 pounds since 3-14-05 and 48 pounds since 1 week before surgery!! I can actually wear clothes from Old Navy!! I hope to have another 23 pounds down by Jan 1st!! ~Jamie~ WOW!! Keep up the excellent work!!! 1/2 way to goal!!!!! You Rock! -
Stayed the same this week. One huge NSV though, I went to old navy and grabbed a pair of jeans off the womens side of the store and they fit no problem!! I broke out in tears right there in the fitting room.. at the same time running out to find my husband. Those around me must of thought I was crazy!

Heather I'm so sorry to hear you've been having pain. Are they taking the sutures that hold the port in place out?? Will he reposition your port elsewhere? I will pray for a quick recovery!

I had steri-strips on all 5 of my incisions.

When were you banded?March 14, 2005 What was your weight ON DAY OF SURGERY?262 What is your weight now?223 :banana What size do you wear?I think an 18-20? I haven't actually been brave enough to venture into a store yet How tall are you?5'7"

My surgeon always says that if I'm unsure that I'm at a point for a fill to make and appoiment for one and that we would talk about it at that time. So I would say go ahead and make the appoiment, the worst that could happen is that you touch base with your surgeon and he can tell you how well you are doing:)

I'm down 2 pounds this morning.:banana so -9 pounds for the challenge and a total of 39 pounds since banding! :Bunny :Bunny

Thank you all so much for your support! I am trying to work on my self image now. I still see myself as being much larger than I really am. I wasn't going to buy any clothes until I hit the 200 mark but my current size mostly 20's are starting to just hang off me I am really happy about that don't get me wrong I just hate to spend $$$ on things that I may not wear next summer. I'm off to wally world later to see if any shorts/tees are on sale/clearance yet.... ~Amy, Yup, had the same lady walk me to the room.. She actually somewhat spoke to me when asking me to get on the scale! I just about fell over*lol* Good luck with your appointment Monday! It may include a fill I was just shy of 6 weeks and he was happy with my progress and I did get a fill! ~Heather, Happy Birthday!! "Step away from the cake!" Next week weigh in will be a different story! ~Vines, Thank you! I guess actually going to the gym and not just paying for it really does work *lol* ( this is a whole new concept for me haha) ~gordonfamily3, I can't believe I actually look forward to doctors appoiments now...

I'm up 1.5 pounds this morning I'm hoping it's just because of the "lady issues" that are haunting me this week... Fingers crossed for next week!

Welcome to LBT! I'm a fellow nurse who is also hoping that losing some weight will help in the "getting pregnant" issue.. Congrats on your weightloss, keep up the good work. -
Weighed in at 226 this morning... I thought for sure I'd drop at least 2 pounds.. I finally joined the gym and went 4 times last week, upped my water intake greatly and only "splurged" once last week on sweets... Hmmmmm Hope next week I can get over this "lose a pound gain a pound" phase I'm in! Happy Monday to you all!
-
Congratulations!!!!! Here's to a happy and healthy nine months!!!!!!
-
I weighed 227 this morning, up .5 from last week.. Not too bad, now that I'm feeling better and eating "normal" again. I expected it to go up more.. I finally stepped back into working out this morning. Gotta love an empty fitness center at work Next week will be a loss I can feel it! ~Heather~ Thank you for your support! My first BIG goal is to 200 then of course to Onederland! It's so close. *fingers crossed* you don't become sick for another 2-3 years! Happy Monday!!
-
I also get the hiccups after eating. Took me a little while to figure out this was my sign to stop eating. They only last just a few minutes, I'll take hiccups over the sliming stuck episodes..

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! You are doing excellent!!! I have had similiar experiences of the "I just know this won't fit" anxiety and of course it does in deed fit.. Like another poster said "You Rock"!!!!!
