If you are experiencing chest pain you should go to ed. If it resolved already you should call your md to left them know how you are feeling rule out septicemia.

I know your md said is was ok to use straws. But normally after wls on stage 1 bariatric diet there us no straws allowed because increase in air and Fluid intake.

Take some tylenol, increase your activity and fluid intake. Monitor your temp and if it dows not go and increase call md. They are concerned about temps of 102 or greater -
Im a nurse too, my coworkers didn't want me to gave wls. But they dont understand since they are thin. They did change their minds and provided me support as long as i didn't get gastric bypass. We see the prs who come back with complications.

i was told 30 days. it is not recommended to combine alcohol with pain meds. i have mixed pain meds with alcohol nothing happened. but its bad on the liver -
if this lap band fails, i will do gastric. my co workers would be against it too.

I am a RN on work on a med/surg floor, our bread and butter is wls. with the sleeve its not irreversible vs the gastric by pass is. but with gastric bypass you loss weight through malabsorption vs restriction.

I am not ready to let everyone know about my wls. My close friends and family only know. I know ppl will pass judgement, its not easy even with wls to lose weight.

Does it resolve slowly, did he rule out bowel obstruction. Do you have diabetes? I would make an appt with surgeon to rule out band slippage. -

I work as an rn ob a surgical unit, we soecialuze in wls. For the sleeve its the same as gastric bypass. Average time dor pt is off for 6 weeks.

Maybe you have a hiatal hernia. Did a go md work eith u. Did yhey do sn egd and did a biopsy of your stomach to rule out for possible h pylori. You might have an ulcer and need carafate to heal thst and be placed on a ppi 40mg twice a day. You might want to try omeprazole aka prilosec -
