Keda, Mrs Britt is right, My port is the biggest bandage. Also kinda under my right breast but a little towards the middle. Once its not painful you can probably push down a little and feel it. I think? LOL best of luck!!

Keda, I Was just pee'ing a lot because they hadta iv drip in me At the hospital. Plus, they told me to sip as much water as I can. So I just keep a glass by me and sip,sip,sip..when did you Get banded?

Awww, Thank You Mrs Britt. Your so sweet. I hope I am not over doing it? I get very nervous about blood clots so I try to be up walking as long as it doesn't hurt me too bad. Should I be sitting down more? I thought they encouraged people to try to walk around as much as they could tolerate? I am so surprised that I am not in major pain. I mean it hurts but not to The point that I want to cry. Maybe I am tougher then I thought, LOL

Well, My dr put me on a liquid diet for 2 weeks to shrink my liver before surgery. Surgery went well. Lot of pain when I woke up but minimal now. Had it done on Thursday.

Oh wow, from soft foods? I have had soup and protein drinks and I drink it so slow because I don't want to get any pain. Still pretty sore especially when I get up from sitting or laying down. What about you?

Hi, I had My surgery on the 25th. So only 3 days after you! Congratulations to you! I don't have a bruise that I know of yet. Still Have the steri strips on but my stomach is still swollen. Is yours? Today @ started Passing some gas. Sorry but feels great, LOL thankfully I don't have much gas pain! How is your pain level now?

Wow, your on real food already? I will be starting mushy foods in 2 weeks, then probably real food 2 weeks after that. Glad it only lasted 5-10 min for you. I am so scared of that happening to me when I start to eat that I will probably be so so slow eating, LOL thanks for the input!

I am everyone!! I am leaving in 2 hours to go to the hospital to get my band. I can't believe the day is really. Here. I have a pounding headache though. Probably from diet coke withdraws. I am a bit nervous but excited too. My Dr. Said I can take my Xanax for my nerves so I am about to do that, LOL with the smallest SIP of water, LOL can't wait to get to the other side! I took some medicine and I didn't have liquid so I swallowed pills. Didn't have any problem! Also , am I supposed to wait 30 min after I have my protein shake to drink water or is that only for when I get on solids? Thanks!

Thank You Maddysgram!! Surprisingly I have been up a lot today. I am getting bored just sitting on couch. So I am up to go to bathroom or to Just Do something, lol. I even went downstairs to let my son play in the play room! Hoping tomorrow will be ok. I hear some people say day 2 is bad

Thank You mis73! I expected to have all this gas Pain and the pills would get stuck. Honestly I have no gas. Well maybe a tiny bit last night. The pills went down fine. Drinking sf grape crystal light. Had 2 protein shakes and broth today. This is going way better then I expected. I hope it says this way. Knowing my luck tomorrow will be different, LOL I can't believe I am finally banded! How long have you had yours?

Hi, I had My band done yesterday! Pain is not too bad. At first it was horrible!! In the hospital when I first woke up. My throat hurts because they had to put a tube down my throat. They also fixed a hernia. I am hoping tomorrow I can go for A short walk. Not hungry. Had 2 protein shakes so far. Water and sf popsicles. Excited to start losing this weight!!!

Today I got my band!! Everything went smooth. Dr fixed my hernia also. When I woke up wow, the pain was intense!!! After multiple shots of pain meds it was better. Maybe more pain because of the fixed hernia? Sitting at home and feel ok. Getting up is a bit rough but I am holding a pillow to My stomach and that helps. Eating sf popsicles. My throat is sore too because they had to put a tube down me. Hoping sleep will be ok. Best wishes to anyone that had their band today!! Thank You all for your support, encouragement and love!!
