Just started in looking at having the band surgery, told my doctor a few weeks ago to give me a referral to a local surgeon. Yesterday I got a referral letter from my doctor and a referral response on my insurance companies letterhead. Does this mean that they are gonna pay for the surgery? It has a certification #, EDI trace#, procedure codes, and other codes as well. Thanks for any info you can give me. JDH
