Lora Brotherton

I am a Registered Nurse, and live in Arkansas. My highest weight was 300.6 lbs. After seeing a photo of myself at that weight, it was my wakeup call! I had lost about 85 lbs a few years ago, but gained it all back (plus extra) after developing some health problems. I tried to lose weight on my own, but was only able to stick with it a few weeks at a time. I thought I was hungry ALL the time! It was like my brain didn't have an "off switch" for my hunger. I also love to travel and ride the motorcycle with my husband. Both of these things were very difficult because of my weight. I'm trying very hard to do the right things, but it's not as easy as I thought it would be. 40 plus years of bade habits are hard to break, but I'm going to get to my goal! I'm so glad I chose to have the lap band done. I wish I would have done it a couple of years ago!
