ok just got the call that my EGD is Thursday at 7 am was told have to have someone to drive me away..I'm flying into Houston alone, my husband is not coming until Saturday to be there with me for my actual surgery on Monday. So I'm thinking I can just let the shuttle drop me off and pick me up they said no. So I don't know what to do. My best friend lives there, but she has kids and a job..... I'm crying and so confused now I'm feeling I should just cancel everything. I hate when things don't go like they should..... I need encouragement

Had my pre op and EGD today had a hernia which I'm proud about crazy huh? Lol but surgery is Monday at 7 then the post op diet I'm gonna be smaller after my post op. I will be on soft foods the week of thanksgiving. I can eat cornbread dressing n gumbo

EGD went well just waking up from good sleep. Still feel drowsy but I'm good!!! I do have a hernia which I'm happy about so my surgery is Monday at 7 am

Anybody used True Results Houston and had any problems after bring banded. I'm hearing sooo many good stories on here, but sometimes the bad ones you run across on here from various people are very spooky.

I'm just an emotional wreck I was able to get him through the on call office. It's where I thought my friend just asked what part of the medical center and I freaked cause I'm not from here I'm alone and the medical center is HUGE!!!! I'm relaxed now. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

Bless you!!!!!!! after crying my heart out the on call spoke actually got in touch with the doctor and he told me. I'm just an emotional wreck did this decision of getting the band have anybody else emotional like this days before the surgery? Do you recall if they gave you a locker for your belongings? I have to take my suitcase because my ride is picking me up from there and I don't want them to tell me I can't have it there. Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk

@vmarlau it's Monday how have you been? Did they fill you at all on day of surgery?

Hello everyone will be boarding my plane in about 30 min to head to Houston my pre op is tomorrow and surgery Monday. So far down 10 lbs on pre op started last Monday.
