Caught the flu Sunday, and I'm getting much better. But I still don't have a appetite, this was my solid foods this week so I don't know if cant eat because of the flu or if I'm afraid to eat because of being stuck or eating the wrong thing.

I am 20 days post op and I am getting sick my question is can too much coughing do anything to my band?

Went ahead to after hours clinic n I have the flu. They gave me two shots n tamiflu n another rx. I'm feeling better.

I had my initial consult in Sept I choose to have my EGD on11/1 and my surgery was on 11/5. I could have had surgery in October, but because of my job I choose a later date.

I was self pay with true result and I had a hernia so I am having to pay $5500 because insurance will pay the rest for anesthesia and the hernia repair

I don't know what I did, but I hope never do it again. I ate earlier like three pieces of meat, and was full. About three hours later I had ice cream, and immediately my rib cage started hurting, like somebody was stabbing me and just grinding the knife then my stomach started hurting. It lasted for about 45 minutes then I bathed and put the heating pad on my tummy and I was better. I'm hungry but scared to eat.

I told my hubby it was gas but he thought I ate too much but I hadn't had much at all. I'm glad it's over -
I'm the same way banded 11/5 but I'm still following my diet don't want to gain back what I've lost. Stay encouraged

Ok I'm on my mushies and I've been waiting for this day for sooooo long I went to Piccadilly and ordered mashed potatoes and blackened fish. Sooooo good took about 4 bites of fish half of my potatoes and I'm stuffed!!!! And I love that I'm stuffed!!!

My mom and a friend of mine have the mom they both look great and both eat what they want just in moderation. They tell me you can eat what you want just in moderation and just chew chew chew. That's the most important thing. -

Has anyone thought of how different they may look after losing weight. Will you be able to accept the new look? Will you look funny or sick? My best friend told me not to lose too much because my head will be big and my body will be little. She said I was going to look like Al Sharpton. My hubby on the other hand told me not to worry about that, he said wasn't you small before with that same head.
