I had mine with true results in Houston Dr. Hollis (awesome man) 4400 down and financed the rest through them... even if I don't lose another pound it's been worth the cost :-)

I got banded 10-10-12 and I'm in Santa fe right by Texas city

I'm looking for something in the same area... I'm newly banded myself and would just like to make some local friends that are as well

I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean but I have only had one adjustment since surgery that was on December 4th and was only 2cc

Missy... wow!!! Congratulations!!! My labs and overall health has improved so much just in the last 8 weeks it's mind boggling! ! My goal is to weigh 190#'s and just 3 months ago I thought that would be impossible now I'm hoping to see my goal weight on my 1 yr lapband anniversary! !!

Thanks Patty!! I'm very excited being 6ft tall and very muscular from my former cheerleading days I tend to carry weight well thank God lol even at my heaviest I was only a size 24 so now I am basically in between plus n regular size clothes and it's an awesome feeling!!! If I wasn't so old and out of shape I'd do kart wheels around my living room lol!! So how far into your journey are you?

Have you tried cantaloupe or orange juice? Sounds like you may need more potassium

Terry the (weightloss) doctor says it's great but my general practitioner is concerned but she was completely against the surgery in the first place

That was kind of my take on it too lol... overall since pre-op until now I've hit my one year goal I set for myself... now my concern is when the weightloss slows down I will get discouraged

Okay, this is my first post so bare with me lol.... I was banded on 10-10-12 my starting weight was 320 as of this morning I am 263 everyone says 2 pounds a week is optimal but I'm losing more than that I'm eating what I want and I feel great so am I losing too quickly?
