Thank you suebee! I have a question. I'm horrified of vomiting..even pre surgery and even more scared now. Lol I think my swelling and everything has gone down. I just don't know how much I should be eating/drinking. I know my band is empty, and liquids seem to go straight through me. I'm not really eating until i'm full I just eat around 2 ounces and then call it quits but it doesn't feel like enough. ....btw I am on a full liquid diet but I've already incorporated mashed pot and cottage cheese with no issues at all. i'm just feeling a bit lost. :/ So I guess my question is how much should I be eating/drinking?

Hey guys it sounds like everyone is doing great. I just had my first doc apt. i've lost 25 pounds...feeling good. My STRICT doc let me go to full liquids and I couldn't be happier!! i told him I loved him. lol so just enjoyed a cup of roasted red pepper and tomato Soup with a lil bit of gouda. It was devine. I'm having an extremely HARD time with the Protein b/c they are usually all so sweet and have a nasty taste...BUT i think it wasn't helping b/c the lack of flavor in my Clear Liquids was really making me nauseated!! so hopefully i'll get back on track with my shakes! don't wanna loose any hair...defeats the purpose of me growing it out the past two years dang it!! Hope all is well. i just finally got on a computer...this site is a lil wonky on the app btw

Ladies I feel like i'm healing well. I can sit up from my bed with no problems (just the mental anxiety it's going to hurt or i'm going to hurt my band) I finally got to shave my legs today! I do have to say two nights ago I had a huge sneeze and it hurt my port site so bad I cried for about half an hour. I thought I was going to die...and then it didn't help that I kept thinking the whole time I messed up my port, now I have to have another surgery so they can fix it, it's probably twisted... Needless to say...i'm a but dramatic. I'm fine now. Lol I'm sick of Clear liquids, the thought of having to drink them for another week makes me sick. I can't stand the smell if my Protein shake right now... I'm about to break. I cannot wait to eat some hummus or cottage cheese or instant potatoes....it's mentally exhausting. I'm pretty weak, but I do feel a little different hopefully it's not all mental it will bee nice to hear I've lost some weight.when I go to the doc on Friday! My family is very supportive and my best friend and my boyfriend are both doing a liquid diet with me. Bless their hearts I don't think they knew what they signed up for. I also was able to walk for about two hours at the store yesterday.. So I feel like i'm healing well. Hope everyone else is as well!

Hey there. I just got banded on 8/30! I'm finally excited about this journey. Has a bunch of complications with my insurance, but the day actually arrived. I'm 28 relatively healthy, but just obese since childhood. This Clear liquids is about to kill me. Everything us just so sweet! The only thing I want is milk BC it's not too sweet. (I did put a French fry in my mouth today and spit it back out...smh just a shame but I know i'm not alone!) I have 11 more days of clear then I get to move to full for 2 Weeks...I hope I can make it lol! I'm already feeling much better, I can lay down all the way and I don't need any assistance getting up or anything. I'm walking around with relative ease and I only took a Tylenol today. Just the gas under my left shoulder is about to knock me out. I can't take it!

Omg i'm so jealous... I had a suspicion that my doc was strict good God. Well if it works, then i'm sure I'll have dropped a ton of weight and gained a helluva lot of will power. Lol me I'll be drinking milk for another week

Hey girl we are surgery twins! Congrats on the surgery. My name is Kayln, since we has it done at the same time it might be nice to keep in touch! I'm adjusting well, the gas is what is killing me! It didn't last for long but it gets under my left shoulder and I swear i'm about to pass out! I have a feeling i'm under a SUPER conservative doctor when so you get to be off these dreaded Clear Liquids?
