I'm down 30lbs I was banded on October 1 The first 2 weeks I think I gain like 5lbs Today after 37 days I'm down 30lbs 5 1/2 weeks post-op I feel very happy so far ...

I have lost weight before but never over 60lbs I have been over weight all my life I know I will be ok Like you said I need to take it one day at a time.....but I can tell you where is coming from ... My cousin witch was my BFF also! When I told her I was considering wls 3yrs ago told me flat out NO! She started telling me how ugly my body was going to look and lots of negative stuff ... And it stuck in my head ever seance ... She's no longer my BFF not because of that but other stuff that happened but anyway I never told that side of the family I was having the surgery only because of negative ppl that they are! I'm working at this everyday and I know it will get better.... I did this for my health!

Has this ever happen to any one I feel scared of losing my weight like how an I going to look? Where is all this fat going to go? Will I have lots of skin left? Will my husband like me after? I don't know if this is normal but it plays with my head a lot !

Had my first turkey sandwich today two slices of turkey Brest and two slices of Natures Own wheat bread and 10 special-k cracker chips I had to pause for a little every bite omg but it was so good! I still have to get use to the no drinking till after but I'm good!

I have a 10cc band I got my first fill last week I'm not tight at all I had 1.5cc when I was banded on October 1st they put 2cc when I went for my fill last week so I have 3.5cc in a 10cc band ..... Did I mention the bread was toasted ..... Yummy!!!

I appreciate all y'all s help In answering my questions I know some questions may sound dumb to a lot of ppl but I'm just getting started on my wight loss journey and I'm so gratefully for all the help in answering a lot of my questions Thanks so much to everyone

Depends on where it is if its in your belly probably yes they will .... That was one of the first things my doctor told me if I developed any kind of rash or any type of anything to call him because whatever it is that you develop needs to be treated first ... Well at least that's what my doctor said good luck and call your doctor!

I didn't have any.... I was feeling like having some wine but didn't have any had 3 bottles of water ... Thanks tho!

One month one day post-op first time I have real Mexican food ... It was my dads birthday and we went out to dinner to celebrate I had some grilled chicken from a salad some beans an like three chips n sauce I think a had a lil to much but did not get stuck n I feel good I know Mexican food is a bit on the no no side because is so easy to eat but I'm a Mexican must have it every once in a while b

Yes it's good food..... Another thing I have to cook it every day imagine that....lol

Ok I got a fill last Tuesday and have been on liquids for two days and start on mushiness today I had my vitamins and light breakfast it's 1:30 and I'm still not hungry but went to Walmart and I felt like I was going to faint I got so scared because I was alone... Have any of you felt this way before and why is that?

Thanks everyone for responding I'm not going any where before I eat ... It was really scary for me today! Going to see the doctor tomorrow my family doctor may sure it's not my blood pressure meds .... Will keep y'all updated

Should I be on liquids a day before ? I call the doctors office left a message waiting on call... Just wondering what to expect
