    Fitbit Aria Scale

I know! Right? That's kinda why I got it, along with the fitbit. It's amazing to see how inactive I am. ( btw, I finally got the darn thing to work)

    Fitbit Aria Scale

Hahaha, it's like this "smart" scale that wirelessly transmits your weight to the computer when you weigh yourself. And it does other stuff too
  4. Stupid scale thingy! Grrrr

    Fitbit Aria Scale

I bought a fitbit Aria scale and I'm having a ton of trouble getting it to sync up to my computer. Anybody have one of these things? I have the fitbit and it's working great. I guess it could be something wrong with my computer.
  6. I'm in my third week post-op and I've stayed the same weight for 4 days now! I've been really good with my diet. Not super active because I'm so tired at times. Is it normal to have a stall in weight loss the third week?
  7. Oh, phew! I was getting really pissed and kinda sad! Thanks for your input, I feel better now.

    To Tired

Oh my gosh! I feel the same way! I've had extreme fatigue on and off. I'm on my third week post-op. I fell asleep in the dentists waiting room yesterday! I hate it. I feel like I can't get anything done. I'm hoping it will be over soon like everyone says.
  9. Molly1978

    Please Helppppppp

    I don't think we can
  10. I'm post-op 1.5weeks roux en y with diarrhea everyday. Is this normal? It's been going on for about two days.
  11. Molly1978

    Diarrhea?

Don't be scared. You will be fine. It might be a little rough going the first week but the second week will fly by. I also think that not everyone has diarrhea. My friend who had the sleeve didn't. Even though I've had diarrhea a lot, never for a second do I wish I DIDN'T have this surgery. I'm soooooo glad I went through with it.

    Diarrhea?

Ahh, that makes sense. Thanks for your reply itzme752.
  13. At this moment, I am so happy. Happy to be loosing weight so fast! For the first time in my life! Ok, I know it wont be this easy always but, I'm gonna take this happy and run with it! If I loose 3 more lbs by Monday, I'll have lost 10lbs. this week! And I think I might actually loose a few more lbs. if I keep going the way I'm going. Its fun to get on the scale now. ha ha ha What I want now is one of those fit bit thingys and the new scale that goes with it (the aria I think its called?) I think that weight loss centers should offer them at a discount to their patients. For achieving goals or something, or just 10% off. I have a feeling that I wont get one for my birthday so, I'll have to buy it for myself. Boo hoo, where's that violin noise coming from? I pooped today for the first time in 6 days. It was almost the worst poop I've ever had. I was sweaty and had to lie down afterwards. Baby Jesus it was painful. Obviously I've been constipated. After my horrific 20 minutes on the pot, I layed down for 10 minutes, got up and drove for the first time in 5 days. It really wore me out. No driving after fighting with the poopy again for a while. Hopefully there will be no constipation like that again. I don't wanna be holding on to the sink and towel rack again praying for a miracle while sweat is dripping from my forehead. Blech. I briefly talked to my cousins wife on facebook today. I told her I had gastric bypass. She said, "Ohh noo!" and "So Sad!" I'm thinking to myself, sad? Seriously? Ummm, I'm huge and trying to loose weight is sad? What a psycho! That makes me so mad! But, I calmly said (typed) "Don't be sad, I'm not. I really like everything thats happened so far." Sad? Why would some people automatically say sad? Don't you understand lady that I've been miserable and basically SAD for a really really long time??? This is the opposite of sad idiot! Jealousy? She thinks I'm not going to get enough nutrients or something? That's by far the weirdest reaction Ive gotten so far.
  14. I'm on my first day of eating yogurt, sugar-free pudding, and cream of wheat/rice ( second week post-op). My instructions are to eat 3, 2 tablespoons to 1/4cup meals per day ( besides water and stuff from the first week). Well, I did really well for the first two, eating cream of rice for the first two meals (eating slowly) but then for dinner I ate a whole Greek plain nonfat yogurt! Which was obviously more than 1/4 cup. Probably 1/2 cup or a full cup. I ate it over maybe 15 mins excpecting to eventually feel full at some point but I didn't! So, what do you think? (I had Rou-En-Y)
  15. I have always had such a difficult time telling whether or not I'm full
  16. Thanks guys! Good advice! I feel better. I didn't know that my stomach may not be healed enough to know when it's full or not. Do you know about when it might be healed enough to know when it's full?
  17. Yeah, I hate them too but, I just want to do everything they're telling me to do.

Ok Less Then Two Weeks Aways From My Surgery Date

I'm so sorry that those people at the office were cold and unfriendly. Maybe they're just unhappy in their jobs? Everyone at my office has been spectacular, although I work for the same company and have the same insurance. I did have a bad experience in the hospital over night though. (The same hospital I work at and know all of these people). I was in soooooo much pain the night of surgery. I think it mostly was just gas but DANG, I thought it was excruciating. My friend who had gotten the sleeve said she wasn't in much pain at all. She just threwup a lot. (I had the Roux en Y) So, I just didn't even think of the whole pain issue, which I admit was stupid on my part. Anyhoo, I pressed the nurse call light all night long and the CNA would answer right away and I'd say, "I'm so sorry but I am in so much pain. Can I have some pain medication?" She'd say, "Ok, I'll check with your nurse." And I wouldn't hear back for 1/2 an hour. Finally she would come in and give me some Fentanyl (which doesn't last long anyways) and I'd say that I was sorry for pressing the call light so much and I know she must be busy. She wouldn't say a thing and would walk out. THEN, I even cried in front of her because I was in so much pain. I'm not somebody who does that sort of thing. Anyhoo, I just got the impression that she thought I was faking. But, she never told me when I can have pain meds (like the schedule) atleast as far as I can remember and she would never come in and say, "If you walk, your pain might get better." I thought she was a total bitch to me. And I kinda always liked Joan. Not so much anymore. ha ha ha. Atleast the pain was much better in the morning.
  19. Wish I could poo! ha ha ha

  20. My program requires One bottle of Isopure Zero carb Protein Drink everyday post surgery. I think most of them taste really horrible BUT, I do like the green apple and one other one. So, I'm just gonna suck it up and drink one a day until I can start eating regular protien.

    Not Losing!

Don't give up! I think I read somewhere where a person can have a plateu for 4 weeks and then it starts coming off again.

    How Long?

Do you have any paid time off saved up? Or short term disability? I'm using both so I wont get into trouble with my bills. My job allows me to use my paid time off and my short term disability at the same time so I get paid a bit more for staying at home.
  23. Molly1978

    How Long?

Well, if you have to work for financial reasons, I suppose it would be ok but that's if everything goes as planned. I would seriously consider telling your boss 2 weeks. This operation is a big deal to your body and it needs rest.
