You are definitely not alone. I have felt that way too, but I just keep reminding myself that losing weight and feeling good is so much more important to me than the temporary satisfaction that comes from eating favorite foods. By no means is it easy, but so many others just like us have succeeded at this, so there is no reason to think we won't succeed too! I suggest just taking it one day, actually, one minute at a time. Just deal with the here and now in making the right choices. It's too overwhelming to think of the foods you love that you can never eat again. I just keep trying to think of how good it will feel to be healthier, more active and to just enjoy life again. It'll be worth every sacrifice. I love food too, believe me (big Italian family), and haven't always made the best choices in terms of carbs and portion control, but I know I'll love being thinner even more than I love eating, so I'm committed to making the right changes. Good luck. You can do it!
